Thanks for posting and for keeping it real always... I've experienced ups and downs on my natural hair journey and I'm now learning my hair and what my curls need and want.
You are so right. I've watched a lot of natural videos and used a lot of the suggested products and rarely land the same results. It has nothing to do with hair types. The products are made for all "types" of hair. What I've noticed is some youtubers will give tips and tidbits about products while others will not. And some of the popular youtubers are not giving important information regarding a product. Sometimes they will use the product before they tape and then tape. Sometimes they say they've already practiced and sometimes they won't so you will think they are getting the perfect results. I have a friend that is a popular youtuber. Believe me this is fact.
Nikki528 yeah thanks for posting this comment, she got the cruelty-free definition a bit confused with natural ingredients that are good for hair vs harmful for hair chemicals like sulphates, parabens etc it is important to why the sponsor’s product selling point right
Hang in there. Before you know it your hair will be way past arm pit length. It does take time. What I do is take pictures of my length every 3 months. Follow the weekly washes. You can twist, braid etc. Just no heat. You will be surprised at your healthy hair success. Oh yeah, deep condition every time you wash. A good 30 min. Under the dryer heat is not necessary. Just throw on a bag and the heat and moisture will do its thing. Good luck
6:14 The short hairs on the top of your head is not breakage its new hair growing from your scalp. You shed hair so it grows back. Do not worry about it❤❤❤
Torri Lewis u r so right. I thought it was breakage but I noticed as I monitored it.... I had tons all over and my hair looked so much fuller and it's just growing like a little weed lol!
I usually trim in my natural curly state because I’m low key a lazy natural but after seeing your blow drying technique I might try this #beautygang #notificationgang
I wish you were in Atlanta so I could give you a BOMB silk press 😩 pro tip: you want to get really sharp professional shears made out of steel because BSS shears will create more split ends in your hair. & when/if you do that make sure you get them sharpened a couple of times a year and oil them weekly ☺️ your hair looks phenomenal though sis 🙌🏾
Grace M. a lot of places that sell shears also sharpen them. It'll only run you about $20. It's best to get them sharpened by the company you got them from because they have warranty's on them. However if you know how, it's also pretty easy to do yourself ☺️
This is my hair routine 👏👏 So I wash my hair weekly and moisture every 2-3 days 1. I Rinse my hair with water 🚿 and part it into four sections so it can be easier to cleanse 2. In my four sections I will start to shampoo my hair after I finish shampooing each section I put it in twist and leave it for about 3 minutes just so my scalp can be nice and clean and sometimes my hair can take 1-2 weeks without a wash when I do this method 3. After three minutes I will rinse out the shampoo in my hair then after I finish rinsing I will take the twist out 4. I get my rinse out conditioner (it’s very thick) it has the most best slip ever and makes my hair so SOFT!! I apply that to the 4 sections then twist it and leave that in for 7 - 10 minutes after I will rinse the conditioner out and undo my twists 5. I finger detangle mostly but when my hair is very tangled I use a wide tooth comb 6. I blowdry my hair on LOW HEAT....I add Leave In Conditioner this also protects my hair from heat damage and 2 different types of heat Protectant Spray and Oil..... so I will get absolutely no damage especially as I am using low heat 7. After I finish I will put moisturising cream in my hair and oil 8. Then I will do a low manipulation hair style like 2 buns 9. The next day I will spray my hair with water from my spray bottle 10. After the next couple of days my hair will get very dry so before I go to bed I split my hair in four sections and apply my Leave In Conditioner, Spray my hair with water, and follow in with an oil...... I will plait the 4 sections and go to bed with a Satin/Silk scarf I will answer if anyone has questions 🤗
I love how brands love to put “sulfate-free” on conditioners and everything that isn’t a shampoo. Like, we know sulfate is a CLEANSING agent, why would you have a cleansing agent in an serum/oil. 🤔
#notificationsquad #beautygaaang This is perfect timing🔥Definitely trying to keep my hair growing and retain length over the summer. Not tryna throw 3 years hair growth out the window 🤔
It’s funny how there’s already a dislike and they obviously didn’t watch the whole video yet and got your post notifications on because they got to this video mad quick 😭👎🏽👎🏽we are stupid lit over here 🔥
Yesssssssss!!! Ever since I trimmed my hair in May I been really taking care of my hair, so I need any & every tip I can get! VIRGOS ALWAYS GOTCHA COVERED ♍️🙌🏾
I’ve started doing this same routine lately, and I think it helps so much more with growth and keeping the shape of my hair in its natural state! #notificationsquad
I'm gonna go into senior year.I've been relaxed (pretty much) my entire life and I want to transition to natural. I'm new to the gang ( comment some encouragement pls)👍💁
You kept referring to cruelty free products being sulphate free however cruelty free is products not tested on animals . You got me a bit confused 🤷🏽♀️
Halfrican Beaute just went a got my products 🤩 (hair masque. Shampoo, leave in, and the hair oil), i can’t wait to try them. I’m trying to grow my hair, and keep it healthy‼️
Very authentic video! Showing us the healthy & unhealthy parts, the shedding, the dead ends and the trimming were super helpful. Thank you for being real 🙌🏽
Thanks, Halfrican Beaute For Motivating me to do more Natural Hair Videos. You are the reason I bought Aussie Moist and Just Posted A Video About It. Thanks For always being an uplifting person. :) God Bless!!!
Literally just give myself a mini big chop( from color damaged ends). So this is good advice for me as a teen. Thx 🙃 been sub from a couple of months watching the other hair videos.
I’ve read that doing styles that kinda stretch your hair (i.e twistouts, braidouts, blowouts) is a way to help reduce fairy knots/single strand knots. Also keeping your ends trimmed
... not gonna lie. I’ve seen MANY youtubers show how to trim type 4 hair... but this may be the most simplest and most straight forward tutorial I’ve seen so far! I’m definitely going to try this method with the comb because other UA-camrs make it look so complicated
Omg I didn’t even realize that sis is almost at 1 mil subscribers. I’m so happy for her. I remember being a filler when she only had like a few thousand. I’m here for the growth okay!
You are really beautiful. New to the beauty gang. What’s up y’all 😃. Sis yo hair is beautiful I have the same hair type . I’m half Nigerian too and it’s so awesome to see a half Nigerian sis like yo self but I knew you was by reading it in the description area. I was like yo she got a nose like me lol love it !
I thought I commented but maybe not. Tryna keep up with watching all my faves vids is tough!! Your hair is on fleek girl!! You doin yo thang and have encouraged me to cut my ends myself!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 yasss girl!! #NotificationSquad #BeautiGang
Absolutely lovedddd this !! 💕 my mom trims my hair in a similar way...to see how to do it on MYSELF is absolutely amazing! My hairstylist likes to blow dry it and flat iron it before trimming...I personally don’t like that because (a) I don’t straighten often (b) that’s a lot of heat 👀 and (c) because I believe it creates more breakage 🤷🏽♀️. with the method you showed us...as a 4 curl girl....am absolutely DOWN FOR IT!! I had to do a big chop where my hair was literally only like two inches and now my hair is like armpit length because of this technique. The challenge now is getting past...PAST thee armpits and to these elbows (at least) 👀 #notificationssquad #beautygaaang
I am starting over. Lost major hair about 2 month ago. I shampooed and putting in some moister and it started coming out till I had a small trash can full. I went ahead and went to a salon a little over a week ago because it just in bad condition. Stylist said that the fall out could have been cause by major stress, new meds, and also I have my hair pulled back all the time. I am 57 and with all the hair cuts I've had it never been this short even when I was transitioning from relaxer to natural. I am very sad right now, it use to stretch down to my bra band, now it at the base of my neck/collarbone. Can barely put it into a ponytail. Being this age hair growth can be difficult. Well hopefully this time, it grow in more healthy and nothing stress it to fall out again. Right now I going to stick to Olive oil and coconut oil (I can cook with it, use on my body and face) for moisturizing these stresses. Thanks for sharing your hair growth routine. And blessing to you in the days to come.
Your hair is beautiful sis and I can appreciate you being your own beautician, I’m my own beautician too. But, if can suggest one thing...invest in some good hair cutting shears. Unlike other scissors, they are designed to make a clean cut which prevents the hair from continuing to split up the shaft. Non hair cutting scissors can be dull and can make splitting worse. Your videos are very informative thanks for sharing.
I can definitely tell a difference when you trimmed your hair, it looks so good! Watch when I get my money right, I'm going to go on a hair journey to get more healthy looking hair.
#NotificationSquad #BeautyGang I am soo thankful I found your videos ! Thank you for all of the gems you drop in your videos ! Could you do a "week in my hair video" I would like to know how you maintain your hair underneath your wigs. THANK YOUUU !
omg, you have so much patience, you twisted them, untwisted, then retwisted, Lord, I'm so lazyyy and I need to stop but like i would just made like 4 big twists and call it a day
You’re officially the only person I’m watching/referencing when it comes to hair care 🥰🤗 And I’ve been wanting to change my routine and get a whole hair care line to use so this was right on time! But, the website for Kiss isn’t working for me tho when I tried to order the products and they aren’t in stores anywhere close to me, but they do have them on amazon, they just cost more on there 😭😖
You and your mane are so beautiful 😍 I wanted to let you know that cruelty free refers to the company not testing their products on animals. Many big name companies such as Johnson & Johnson and L’Oréal Paris have been known for testing their products; (such as bleach and other household cleaning products and beauty products) on animals to test for human consumption and use. I for one am someone who has been anti-animal testing since I learned about it; and cruelty free refers to that specifically.
#notificationsquad i trim ends the same way. The only time i trim my hair in its curly state is when i see single strand knots or any form of damage. I use the wild hair growth oil and jbco to speed up the length process too.

She's officially the *ONLY ONE* that I can actually trust with tips for my hair, *she is the bomb* 😚👏🏽 who agree with me?🙋🏽♀️
Madylynnz vlogs I completely agree
why?

Yes I agree

Cruelty free refers to the product not having been tested on animals, not ingredients. Nice results.
Yeah I wish she would've explained it correctly, but cool that it's cruelty free and also most of the products don't have sulfates
Nikki528 yeah thanks for posting this comment, she got the cruelty-free definition a bit confused with natural ingredients that are good for hair vs harmful for hair chemicals like sulphates, parabens etc it is important to why the sponsor’s product selling point right
Yeah I noticed that. Cruelty free means that companies don't contribute to animal cruelty I think she just got it mixed up
Chloë B could you explain this a bit further? What’s an external lab?
Chloë B that’s so sad
so helpful as a natural teenager who tryna grow her hair past armpit length 😫🙌🏾 love u Isi! #notificationsquad
