Gordon Jacob Oboe Sonatina

This is part of a recital which included Alan Richardson's Oboe Sonata and three pieces written by him for Leon Goossens birthdays.
It is part of Jonathan's performance related PhD work and was videoed in The Cloth Workers Hall, Leeds University, March 2013.

Yes, it is very fast. The arrangement calls for 138 bpm and he’s playing at around 170 bpm. I do think it sounds very nice at this speed however
