for mounting on the headband try screwing the headband to the ears. I have a headband that has antlers screwed onto it for cosplay reasons, just put some cloth or felt over the screws so they don't irritate your scalp.
Couple of questions: On your mm stocking did u used a permanent green marker ...does the no stay? Also you shared the oz amount you used to make can u tell us the cost for making one? Thanks for your tutorials the are very detailed.
I still haven't found a way to mount my ears onto my headbands. I even tried using two alligator clips to just clip into my hair. I guess for people with a lot of hair maybe. My hair is thin and they were too heavy to stand. I'd love to see a pic of someone actually wearing a headband successfully. I may have to contact my ear mold supplier because i really want to make Christmas ones!!
iCrafto not a bad suggestion. Here's thr real issue. Head bands change shape when they go on your head and I already had one snap in half. I'm thinking of drilling and doing some creative wire wrapping then could follow up with a seal of UV but i don't even own any yet. Haven't really found that burning desire in my crafting. 😘😂
Not going to lie I giggled when you said mouse bush. 😂 These moulds looks amazing. All the pieces you cast are stunning. Can't wait to see what you do with the others. 😍
kuschellissy if you use water, use distilled water. The fear of plain water is allowing mold to happen. I suggest baby oil or you can purchase "shaker oil" from Sophie and Toffee. 😊
So help me out here PLEASE... :-) Did you make these molds yourself? I need a tutorial to make my own resin mold for cookies and candy chocolates. Thanks for any advice, best wishes Kim
Hello. I did not make these molds. I got them from CandyChaosCreations. There are ldpe mold makers on Etsy with premade molds or some take commission for custom molds. 😊
GrimmsCraftingTales, ok, here are my questions: 1) There's an unsightly seam where the mold halves met. Once I've shaved off what I can, how can I best eliminate evidence of the seam? 2) There's a flat spot at the top pour hole. Can that be rounded out? 3) Will hot glue hurt the mold if I use it to seal the halves until it's cured? 4) What's the best way to polish the finished product?
No, sorry. Just a review of a mold maker. NerdECrafter has a tutorial on how to make your own vacuum former for creating plastic molds. Or you can check out CraftyLefty on how to make your own silicone molds.
That first shaker trinket box is gorgeous and the ombre effect you created is to die for-i need it in my life 😍😂

Hateful ideologies aren’t allowed in the resin community.

You could use a paint pen/marker, it would be better.
I didn't think you could use plastic molds. Is it difficult to remove your cured piece?

ok so I got ear shaker molds, but how do you create the top part of the shaker?
Nicole Wiseman I'm not understanding what you mean the top part? To seal the shaker? I have a shake tutorial that might help. 😊
You do beautiful work. I cannot afford the prices you charge for molds.
These are not my molds. This is simply a review of molds I obtained from CandyChaosCreations. 😉
I have read, "don't use water." Is it right? I have fear to use water or oil for the shakers.
