When I started spearfishing years ago with a group of divers they told me, "welcome to the dark side." LOL apparently not everyone in the dive community agrees with us wanting to get fish. Awesome hunt today Nora.

But at least we're not using nets that are pulling all life out of the water and destroying reef in the process. Keep up the good work on your channel. Hi, Nora. Loved this video, especially bc you said it was your first time spearfishing using the 'Hawaii sling'. You did great and nabbed yourself a nice grouper. Ignore the naysayers on fishing bc you eat what you catch. I'm dying for fresh lobster (we call them crayfish here in NZ) and pronounce 'grouper' like 'groper', so Lena's joke had me laughing so much. Thanks for an exciting time. Lobsters have claws, these are langustas, also called spiny lobsters or rock lobsters.These are members of a distinct family of crustaceans called the Palinuridae, while the northern Atlantic Ocean lobsters (canadian or american lobsters) are from the Nephropidae family.
Wow...can't get any fresher that that. What a beautiful place. I've never had grouper...yet. I love lobster but if I had to choose between it and scallops...it's scallops hands down. I'm surprised you didn't try to pet the sharks at the cleaning table. Any plans to visit St. Marten? I would love to stand at the end of the runway next to the beach when a commercial jet takes off or lands. Well you found my weakness...knives. Just ordered my Huusk blade. Thanks for the discount. I'm hoping to visit Florida for the first time in the near future. I definitely want to try conch and abalone while I'm there. I honestly think I could live on seafood. Thank you for sharing this adventure. I hope there's more just like it.

My absolute favourite way to cook lobster is in a pot of the water it came out of. Just boiled for about 15 min . Perfection . In my opinion the best side for lobster is ….more lobster 😂 ✌️💕

Beautiful fish and lobster that fresh just needs simple cooking like you did, and that is the way to eat it, just a few hours out of the sea. I owned an Inn and restaurant in a fishing village in south west England. I made my reputation in serving fresh local fish. Now I live in the middle of Canada, I really miss fresh fish. Husk are a good all purpose knife. Chef Andrew

Those ' Bugs ' you and Lena enjoyed were either Spiny or warm water lobster. We have both here in San Diego and the Baja peninsula, Next time try a fresh garlic,butter and cilantro dip.Very cool seeing you use the Hawaiian sling i always thought it was cheating using scuba and a speargun to catch your meal the only thing i shoot with scuba is film....Always cool seeing you two on the " ADVENTURE " Looking forwards to the next one....Aloha

The guy fileting fish with it was amazing! I can't imagine cleaning fish with it since it's the opposite of a good filet knife: rigid and thick.
My chickens love it because it means I'm cutting up some yummy melons for them!
