I just got my pair today. I was borderline on them for $160, plus I already bought way too many pairs of Jordans this year. But once I saw some on-foot pics of them I fell in love with the look. I think they look great. Very tough decision between the red laces and the black laces for me, but I'm rockin the red for now.
Everyone thought these were going to be OG Bred’s/Banned when the color codes released. I liked em and bought a pair and will be wearing them.

I love these. Got these is 7Y gs size and the quality is the same as the men adult. Leather quality is A+ plush and soft. Very comfortable.
I compared inspected them at footlocker. Save me some money.

I agree that Nike should overload the mkt with the OG colorway 1s like the Converse All Star Chuck Taylors.
As I get older, Jordans are getting more comfortable to me too! The stiffer cushion definitely makes my aging joints and back feel better than softer cushioning.
I saw these in store and also agree with the leather quality. If I remember correctly, the Jordan 1 'rookie of the year', the hype increased after release date once people got them in hand and saw how well those were made. Maybe that'll happen to these 'bloodlines'.

Included this as a separate comment cuz I've agreed with you for a while about this: too much cushion is absolutely horrible on my ankles and sides of my legs and knees. I did the same thing you did, took a Jordan 1, Ultraboost, and Saucony Irish Coffee Pack whiskey colorway to DC. Woke up on day 2 with horrible stiff joint pains on the outside of both ankles going up just below my knees. Swapped to the 1s and instantly felt better. Stability in my mid 30s is a good thing.

Yeah I got sick & tired of waiting too, and now I do shoe restoration so I just took a pair of Cyber Mondays and made my own goddamn Bred 1s.
No one ever asks if they're real or asked me to take them off or anything else. And they cost me 65 bucks and the time it took to customize them, oh and the little bit of materials I used.
Next I'm going to make my own off whites. F*** paying $5,000 for something that belongs on your feet that Jordan didn't even sign or wear!

Some of us are protesting against these bloodlines. There were many sites and rumors saying that the Breds were coming out in November 2019, however when they released the bloodline pictures, many people were disappointed.
Sunlight station ships way faster than the whole eastbay umbrella.
I remember seeing these on the nike website on sale for $145 and almost all sizes were in stock. Now they are going for wayyyy more

I got these a few days ago. They're starting to sell now. I think the Bred 11's and all the other 1's dropping hurt the sales initially. But now people are picking them up. I think they will fully sell out before they go on sale.

I’ve never found AJ1’s to be uncomfortable at all. More comfortable to me than Chucks or something like that
I copped these a little below retail and I love them. As a die hard Bulls fan so they go great with my wardrobe nicely. They are comfortable and don't crease badly like many other Air Jordan 1's

The new Jordan 1 highs flopped way harder today. They are the all black satin ones that just released today the 18th of January and there still sitting on the Nike app 11 hours later. I wear a size 8 and I never can get a pair on the drop and they still have my size sitting on the Nike app right now. I'm completely blown away. I've never seen anything below like a size 11 or 12 still available on the app 5 minutes after 7a.m. I was thinking about grabbing a pair to resell but then I looked on stock x and they are selling for less than retail. What the heck is happening.

I was able to grab a pair of react flynit 2 on discount in Singapore, but was not able to rock on them cause it was raining all week in the city. Went to Universal Studios Singapore wearing my good old Chucks with a gummy insole on them and have not have any problems in the toes or knees. Survived the entire day and long walks during the night.
It's interesting that a lot of people would say "boost is comfortable", or "boost is for all day wear", yet you had experience unease after using them on your Disney land trip.

This is my first Jordan
I do think that OG Jordan 1 color ways should become a standard shoe that can be picked up whenever. It looks like the AJ1 is going to be that Chuck like you said, so it should be as readily available. The way to get around the hype would be to make a standard pair (lower quality, pleather, etc) in the OG color ways, but once every year or two release them in a true remastered form. Original height, quality materials, exact same OG color shades, original packaging, etc. This way the hype beasts and resale market that are being catered to will still have their super limited "I'm better than you" drops, while people who love the shoe and colorways will be able to beat their pairs year round without the need to worry about tracking down a replacement pair for $400 plus.
For me, especially with Jordan 1s, I only go for the og colorways, unless there’s a non og colorway I really like. The reason why because the og colorways have really simple and straight forward colorways that are very easy to pair with literally ANYTHING.
Plus, all the og colorways still look really good even beat up, unlike with some (some, not all) non og colorways in my opinion.
I did a review on these and based on the guys I talked to, these are sitting coz people were disappointed as the color code that leaked prior made us believe that the bred 1s would release. Then we got this. But I like this a lot actually

First i love your channel. It's the only channel I tune too for reviews. You've led me right many times. I'm 44 and finally copping my first Jordan 1s and these are it. Couldn't afford these as a kid and ended up with copy LA Gear but that's another story. Anyway ordered on 11/30 with two day shipping and as of 12/4 still no tracking info. Apparently these broke the internet. I hope theyre great and I plan to hoop in them once to break them in and then never again unless somehow I kill in them. Thanks for the review!

A lot of reasons for these sitting. Similar 1’s have released in a short time span. Black/Red Not For Resale’s, Gym Red’s, Defiant’s, SI’s, to name a few. Also, a lot of other awesome shoes releasing around this time. Plus, people are saving and waiting for the Black/Red XI’s. People with double, triple up, maybe even more. Also, it’s gift giving time so money is spent on family and friends. I can go on and on, but those are a lot of reasons why these 1’s are sitting. Lol

I agree with what she said at 5:57. Can you image in world that people needs to line up a pair of black Chuck or Stan Smiths? They should do a general release and restock of the OGs like what they did with the Jordan 1 low fat tongue and do limited releases of those non OG colour ways and colabs. I guarantee that sneakerheads and resellers would still eat up all those limited release and keep the hype going.

I agree, I would love to be able to go to the store and buy a pair of the most iconic shoe from one of the most/the most iconic shoe brands ever (AJ Chicago 1s). But I you know for a $160 on a shoe that will almost definitely sell out no matter how many they release I guess they can't afford to do that.
Sucks when a brand that was built off nostalgia and story telling makes it so hard for people who already love the brand to give them money, and hard for newer consumers to learn the stories that made us fall in love with the brand.

I was in the mall in Albany NY today, and these are all over the mall. Aside from the sneaker reseller stores, it's rare to see J1 highs in the mall here.
Resell on 1's would plummet if you could buy them like an air force one.

the fact that these bricked and are sitting days later says more about the general sneaker consumer than the product. These sneakers failed to live up to a perceived hype value and suffered...all while sneakerheads were clamoring for more quality. So we clearly have a consumer base that has no loyalty to a product or silhouette. Half the people wearing J1’s are doing it purely for hype over general sneaker affection.
