These are fire! These and the Chicago Black Toe mids are my favorite mids this year. Jordan brand has been giving us some good colorways this year for the lows and mids and I ain't mad at it.
Since he brought up the straps, I’d like to mention that I used to rock the one high straps in the black and white color way and let me tell you, without the strap they were straight HEAT 🔥 they looked like the yin yang black Jordan one ogs, and it had the Jordan jump man on the back but it was black so it didn’t ruin the look of it or made the shoes look cheap. Picked them up for like 110 and they were a great purchase
I saw these at my local Champs and picked them up. Quality isn't the high, but seemed a lot better than the usual mid. I don't mind the red strip, it's almost like a nod to the Air Ship
Love the colorway. Reminds me of childhood when my dad brought me once to flea market to buy me a Goku action figure only to find out later that the cartoon had a different color detailing on the detachable shirt and shoe.
Compared to High OGs, the mids will never exceed expectations. But of all the Mids that have come out, this one is the best one in my opinion. The leather is tumbled on the toe and heel which you don’t see on most Mids if any. Best Mid so far.

There was a time when the mids didn’t move from the shelves. Now I can’t fuckin find any. It’s funny how people hype or hate on things to ridiculous proportions. But that’s all it is-hype. I’ve learned a valuable lesson: wear what you goddamn please.
I've never minded mids since my first introduction to them was before I would even consider myself a "sneakerhead". I had one pair but just couldn't rock them because the materials would be so poor/stiff that the toebox material would pinch down on my toes when I walked in them. Glad to see recent mids have been improving!

I remembered back in HS I wore mids, some of my friends used to hate on mids calling them the broke man's Highs, I used to tell them don't sleep on mids, now people care about mids cause all the nice colorways
When I go to the gym, I wear the highs because I like the extra support on my ankles, but when I play ball, I wear the mids, because it feels more lightweight if that makes sense lol

Mid’s are 🔥but I prefer the highs over them 9 times out of 10. Not because it’s a hype thing or to follow other sneakerheads, but the highs typically have much better materials. Mids have much better colorways though and you can almost get 2 pairs for 1 pair of high’s 😝.

I got the mids "breds" for everyday throw arounds and the highs for more like special occasions....I found not a lot of people can tell the difference ...
I had a pair of mid before and I bought these bred mid last month. The mid sole of these are so thin, hard and stiff that they are a lot more uncomfortable to walk around with compared to the pair I had bought four years ago. Plus not having leather upper like the older pair makes them even more uncomfortable. One day I walked in these for like 20k steps according to my phone, and it absolutely destroyed my feet. I feet was never that sore when I walked similar distance in the old mids. Now I strictly wear these to lift weights just bc they offer some good stability. Also, the red on these mids are a lot brighter than the OG bred, which in my opinion doesn’t look as good. Not saying nobody should get them, but just temper your expectations.

I have the 2001 bred 1 mids, and I have to say I miss the padding that were on the collar with these new ones!
Those were Highs, the 2001 mold of the Jordan 1 High is just shorter than the other High molds.
