This is one of my favorite groups in smooth jazz. This is my favorite song by them. It sounds better today than yesterday. So fresh so new a real feel good vibe. That takes you to another world. A real calgon moment if you will.

An old friend performed in the same show with them in 87, and told me he fell in love with Jane Kuramoto. He couldn’t help but be mesmerized by her graceful performance. He talked to her and got to know her really well, they also been romantically involved. Unfortunately, they never got in touch again after their meeting. Things truly were different in the 80’s.

After playing it, I would hear some of your music while she drew and painted her anime pics. She is now 30 years old. As I listen to One Wish, I remembered meeting you and having you sign my CD and T-Shirt at the November 2021 Jazz Legacy Foundation Festival in Hampton VA. You signed my CD and took a picture with me. I lost my husband that year I heard your music live. That same year and whenever I hear "His Gentle Heart" on the CD I cry every time because he loved your music also. I know that 2022 is your last year touring, but you will be involved in music education, and I thank you for it.
I don't know if it would be your cup of tea but you could always check out Wagakki band, they're a fusion of traditional Japanese and modern rock, worth a listen to (definitely not the jazz fusion that we get with Hiroshima but worth a look)
