Sailed on this big gal with the family in 2019. It was my first cruise, too. When we first arrived at the port, our jaws dropped at the sheer size. My dad was like, "Holy s**t, that is one big boat!" I was giggling so much at that remark because he took the words right out of my mouth. 😂
I honestly prefer the bigger ships. The bigger the ship, the more there is to do on sea days, even on longer cruises. The food was top-notch. Best of all, no problems on board! It was not too crowded, either, despite being a bigger ship. Everything went smoothly, and the weather was perfect. 7 days of Caribbean sun with stops in Coco Cay, St Thomas, and St Martin (Dutch side).
Glad you had a great time on Harmony and we agree, bigger ships are better! We are so excited to sail the Icon in January and can’t wait to post the videos of that beauty. Thanks for watching and hope you’re sailing again soon.
Loved Harmony, just sailed on her last week. Best vacation EVER! I will mention that while we LOVE piano music, and the guy who played the piano had amazing talent, it was rated R humor and song lyric changes, and we left very frustrated. Favorite spots were late night pizza at Sorrentos and snacks at Café Promenade.
That is a good point about the piano bar in Schooners, and I will admit that most piano bars I have seen do get a little dirty, but it's later in the evening (after 11pm) and most areas are fully enclosed unlike Schooners. My favorite of the piano bars is Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos which is on select NCL ships. But yes, we LOVE Harmony and the other Oasis class ships! Can't wait for the Icon... thanks for watching Emily!

@GracemarieJohnson amazing although the boat had to shut down the pools and aqua show due to the rough waters for 2 days so I am just glad I didn't get too seasick!

A cruise can be whatever you want it to be! That’s the beauty of it. Now, these Oasis class ships are BIG and can sometimes be crowded, but there are usually spots like Central Park or the Solarium that are calmer. @@carlettewilliams the food was the best that I’ve tasted on a cruise, the Wind Jammer food was even delicious, Royal Caribbean did not disappoint it was so good I booked Wonder of the Sea while I was onboard

Well Sr MClure checking out your vlog since we booked it last night, had to canceled my group cruise on the VIVA Jan 2025 due to price increases so Alice got this one to cover my 60th Bday !! celebration!! This will also be my 1st time on RCCL and with one of the biggest ships available right now!! Saw it in Cozumel recently !!! LATER!!

Very impressive ship. Looks like there is a lot to do, but a tad too big for me. I do prefer smaller ships. I would however book a ship like this just once, to see what it's all about.

We will be on this ship in 3 weeks. I only see to reserve the Fine Line Aqua show. Is there another show in the aqua theater?
There is…. It is called Hideaway Heist and there are no reservations for this show. On our sailing it was near the end of the cruise…

It was a good thought to split smoking in the Casino but it's not partitioned off so you still smell it and your clothes still reek...
There are still steps that can be taken, for sure, but this ship was better than many I have sailed on. I do think that this is an important issue for the lines to work on. Thanks for watching!

When we were last on Harmony in March we never saw the escape room open unfortunately…. Though it may have been very limited. As far as the zip line goes, weather pending it is open a lot! And it is free of charge, just head on up and zip away!

That is correct! The solarium area is supposed to be 18+ only. It is a very nice and relaxing area.

Lots of entertainments facilities restaurants, shops but he didn't mention if there's sick bay to treat injured and sick passengers or are there doctors and nurses working on the cruise
Yes, absolutely there is a complete medical facility on all major cruise ships, and this is one of the largest in the world. The medical areas of passenger cruise ships are not “public” areas, as they are only accessible on an as needed basis. Thanks for watching!

Royal Caribbean states the gym is for use by those age 16 and over.

The Solarium area will be your best bet on this ship and it’s a great area to hang out in! This is located at the front of the ship and is for ages 18 and up.

Hey David, all a matter of opinion, right? We just sailed on NCL Breakaway a couple months ago and had a great time, but the ship can’t compare to the Oasis class. Now, I understand that a lot of cruisers don’t want to sail in a ship that size… others, love it! I am excited to sail on Prima in a few months as well! Thanks for watching.
Just got off this ship. I wish people would have warned me about the over crowding. I will never do another larger ship like this. The Windjammer Cafe was always so crowded you had to fight to get a table. The shows would fill up even with reservations and we also couldn't find seats. Honestly I was not that impressed with this ship. Bigger is definitely not better.
Oh and don't lose anything on this ship because you aren't getting it back.

We went in January and didn't eat in the windjammer because if the long lines. Entertainment wasn't very good and it was so crowded. I've gone on several cruises and this is the first time I didn't enjoy myself. No more larger shops for me.
Next month is the second time on board. Great video for all the Newbie Green Horns that are going for the first time. Welcome Aboard!!!😂
