i agree with you. movies need to focus on telling a story and building a well done suspenseful scare. theres a fine line there as well. if you cheese the audience too many times then theyll get annoyed quickly with the film but the conjuring is the best PG 13 movie at capturing what a PG 13 movie should be. i cant name a better PG13 movie
Hey Man, first time viewer and consumer content creator myself. You made some excellent points. Not enough people prepare themselves for the psychological terror that PG-13 often uses instead of straight up hack'n'slash gore. Atmosphere, suspende, and dread I think really make standouts such as; Exorcism of Emily Rose The Ring Insidious Drag me to hell 1408/lightout etc. Great stuff my dude! Cheers!

Like you said , PG13 is a good starter for younger fans to get a taste . I give most horror movies a chance but some PG13 is very obvious what you are going to get so I skip those . The Conjuring , Amityville Horror and one of my favorite horror movies The Others are PG . Great video and topic .
I agree 100 percent.. I love pg13 horror. Usually have more suspense and are not just dumb gore for fun. I stay away from most reviewers for that same reason you talked about..
Great video man! I'm excited for M3GAN 2.0 and that plot sounds fun, pull a T2. M3GAN was PG-13 but it rode the line to almost an R which I liked.

Conjuring is great I think supernatural is probably the easiest to pull off with a PG-13 rating.
