You could always try setting up your own online store, and then promote it on Instagram, Facebook and UA-cam. If that fails, then you always have Etsy to fall back on.
same here brotha, with the takedowns and the egregious fees, i had to switch to ETSY and it was great WAYY less of a hastle, only thing that got taken down were Warner Bros stuff, specifically batman slips. all the best.
Oh man I'm sorry to hear about your eBay store. I think it would be cool if you had a website. Could you do both Etsy and a website? I had to laugh that eBay let you keep Cheer Or Die up haha. You know I'm a fan of your work so whatever you decide, I'll promote it.
I would love for you to have an independent website. I've used your ebay store several times and it would be awesome to see all the slipcovers that you do.
That's exactly what's going to happen my friend so keep an eye on the channel and I'll have some details soon. Thanks for all of your support I appreciate it.
You could start with Mercari or Etsy while you build a direct site. Then as your site is ready put a business card with info about your direct site in with the Mercari or etsy orders that you ship out.
I’m sorry but I have to say that I didn’t really like seeing these “custom” slipcovers when I was browsing for slip cover 4ks on eBay. I do appreciate the ones you do for UHDs that didn’t come with a slipcover or alternate artwork. But not the ones that are just exact replicas that could fool someone into paying top dollar for an OOP one or something. Hope you figure out a good place to sell them
I often worried about those issues. I never wanted to fool anyone or trick them into thinking they were originals. So I tried to make it clear as I could and also I tried to make the majority of them different.
Hello, I'm not sure if you will see this, but I would be interested in paying you to possibly make a box set for the complete Rick and Morty series on steelbook. It would house all 7 seasons (5 steelbooks and 2 slipcovers) if you would be open to creating something like that. Sidenote Season 1&2 never had steelbooks, so would also like customs steels for those two too
Etsy would be easiest for you to set up but from what I gather from blockbuster box sets, the ability to combine items for shipping is a pain. He gets around that by offering listings that are just the amount you want to buy in one go (ie for you, 2 slips as a listing, 3, 4, etc). And they also charge a percentage. A website skirts a lot of issues but the hosting, payment, and foot traffic is all on you
I do I was doing a lot of Kino titles even ones that didn't have slips. Keep an eye on the channel and I'll have more info soon. Thanks for the sub I appreciate you.
I’d make a FB and IG for the shop and redirect to Etsy or a website shop. Glad I got mine before that happened. I hope everything works out for you and we can buy from you still. 🤟💯
That’s unfortunate that EBay did that. I think an independent site might be the best option. Don’t have to worry about what you sell. Just promote it on all your social medias. I like that Shinning slipcover. I didn’t like the movie so I don’t have but I would have bought that slip if I had the movie.
That’s wild, I had 3 of your slips in my eBay cart a week ago. I went back to checkout and everything was gone. Figured I’d never see you again, and then you popup on my UA-cam feed. It was the Bring It On slip that tipped me off. Haha At any rate, I wish you the best of luck with this, and hope to see your awesome slips again soon.
@@sidehustlecinema 🤣 you ain’t kidding! Yeah, I subbed as soon as I found your channel. You had sent me a message on eBay, but I’d much rather follow your updates here. Glad the algorithm actually did something productive this time.
I know it's probably something you really enjoy but that's definitely not a good business model. The companies can and will eventually sue you for that. Consider yourself lucky eBay closed you down before their lawyers found you, and don't do Etsy it will be the same thing.
85% of my slipcovers are for movies that never had one. Truthfully my slipcovers encouraged people to buy the original movie from these companies. You wouldn't need a World War Z slipcover unless you bought þhe movie from Scream Factory. It's like if your kid collects legos and you buy him a toy box that someone made with a Lego logo on it. Most people would find that harmless.
@@sidehustlecinema I know I'm not saying it's bad I actually don't care personally. I know there's a market for it and people who want it. There's still going to be a team of lawyers looking for this and sending out cease and desist to people who do it. If you want to do that sure go ahead but it's not a business model that will work.
SHC! That sucks! I'm sorry that happened to you. You can always hope Bring It On Cheer Or Die gets hot! 🔥😂 Can't you just create your own website or company? Good luck to you, my friend! 🤘🏼🍻
I can't do any custom orders right now it's going to take a lot of my time to get the new site up and running. Keep an eye on the channel and I'll have some info soon. I can help you with those VS slips.

I'll be back, because these days everybody gets a sequel. 😂
@@sidehustlecinema 🤣🤣🤣
That's so unfortunate! Etsy and Mercari might be good choices. Good luck, I am sure you will figure things out.
Thanks! I appreciate the input.
I just heard some artists on Etsy got there stores shut down for copywrite stuff. So like you said. It’s going to be the same as eBay. Goodluck man.
Sorry to hear that man...
Thing will look up
Keep faith
I will man. I appreciate your support Kal.
It do etsy with a few covers on there, but then DRIVE traffic to your own independent site.
Subscribe to the channel so you'll see all the details when I have them. I appreciate your input. Thanks!

That's a good idea. I probably do need a feeder system from etsy.

It's something to consider. I appreciate the input. I'm leaning toward a website but using etsy as a feeder system to promote the website.
that's a bit worrying, I hope they don't take down my custom slipcovers from eBay it's been going quite well recently 😅
I hope it works out for you.
Do you have any slips for The Good the Bad and the Ugly 4k? I wish I had known that you were selling them.

Let me know once you are up and running I could use a few slip covers.
Just keep an eye on the channel and I'll have more details soon. Thanks for the support.
Sorry to hear that this happened. Keep it up brother.
Thank you, I will
etsy is where i go, but if you have a decent client base you should do the website
Thanks for the input I appreciate it. I had about 900 followers to my store with 40% of my sales coming from repeat buyers.
Independent site would be better in my opinion cant wait to get more slipcovers!
Thanks for the input. We need to plan a live together soon man it's been too long.

Hey I sent out your mystery box today. I think you'll like it. Thanks for the input.
Any update on the custom slipcovers ? I would really like to buy some
where can i buy one?
Those Ghostbusters slips look nice! 👍👍
Thanks I appreciate it.

At least Bring it On was good for something. 😂 Hey I hope you stick around and subscribe. I'll have details soon about the new site.

You don't need ebay. There's plenty of other places you can sell for what you get who will treat you better.
Thanks I appreciate it.

If you're able to come up with something, let me know. Would love to buy some slipcovers off of you
Side Hustle should’ve gone full time.
