John.. First of all, Love the channel! Please get this car retuned. I'm so scared every time I watch you drive this thing. Cruising should be 14.7~ and WOT needs to be 11.5~.. I do not have a clapped out 90s Civic with undrivable amounts of power or a really clean DC2 Integra or anything like that. I'm just rolling around in a bone stock 2007 Accord wagon, at least it's a manual and already has a K series in it from the factory 😎😎😎😎 (please don't tell anyone that it's the least powerful K20 Honda ever made). I didn't even have these cars on my radar before, but I'm super happy I ended up with one.

Seems like the tune needs to be messed with a little more on the eg, I couldn’t help staring at the wideband lol seen a couple times on heavy throttle you were hitting like 14 afr in boost and idling at 10 afr 10-12 cruising
Glad it was just a throttle body and you had a spare. I had a 94 accord with the same issue only it wasn’t the throttle body as a whole but literally the throttle cable housing had broken somehow and the cable would get stuck on the tab that broke off, I would have to throw the car in neutral at lights. 😂 by the way I’m a somewhat new subscriber and love your content. Keep it up man!
Thought id mention that those AFRS in boost seem abit lean imo. Might want to check that over. Was seeing close to 14afr under boost by the sounds of it! Dont wanna hurt the Bseries!!
Came here for that comment. Definitely looked like the gauge was showing it lean during boost. Also noticed it seemed rich during cruising and idle. But it is hard to really see on my phone.
Not sure if thats a skunk2 TB but I just bought my alpha series intake/TB and it also got stuck very very often, I remedied it by adding in a extra throttle return spring. Should I have had to do that? No, its sad but thats how it has to go. Also my coolant port popped off of my skunk2 intake as well. I thought i was doing good by going skunk2, boy was I wrong...

Sup bro really great content!! Watching from 🇨🇦 i got the same intake manifold as you with same 74mm tb and it was doing same as your i did a lot of trouble shooting ended with solution pretty easy! Top spring that retains tention is not enough i cut it just a bit at lower portion and banding it back so it still lock but pretty much tight and you also got nice firm pedal feeling! It literally change drivability completely!! Sry for my English french candian 😅
I had the same issue with my 03 SVT Focus. I was running an upgraded throttle body, and a short ram intake. I ended up having a known issue happen where the engine backfired through the intake, and blew the short ram intake off. This happened at night, and I was less than cautious when putting everything back together. However, my issue was that it was then hard to rev the engine. So I matted it to the floor, and the throttle got stuck wide open. I then realized my issue, and I can't say for sure if maybe this was part of your issue or not. But, the position in which I had the clamp screwed down interfered with the lever/cable, and it was rubbing horribly making it hard to accelerate. Then after it went to WOT, the throttle body got stuck on the screw for mentioned clamp. A quick readjustment of that, and 10 min later I was up and running. A little while later I got a tune for the car to help with the backfire through the intake manifold issue as well. The car has since been upgraded to an ebay special cold air intake that I lightly modified. But all is well that ends well. Glad to see you got this sorted out! Cheers!
My plan is always the same building a sport compact. The car is down for no less then 3 years. I buy everything needed for the entire build. Do all bodywork and paint, then assemble. The chassis light harness i always make myself ejecting the 27 year old oem wiring. Engine managment is always by fueltech.
John , in your previous b18 build videos you mentioned taking your engine to the machine shop. Im up in Milwaukee struggling to find one with good reviews. id be willing to go down to illinois if you can make a recommendation please!
Looks like a tps issue and sounds like the throttle body gets stuck when the cars running gets worse when warm coz I had the same issue on my turbo metro ❤
If you still are getting metal flakes in the oil . . If ever. . Check your camshaft journals, im going through that right now. Just wanted to throw that out there.
You need driver mod if you can only run 13s. Stock LS swap boosted with 300hp usually breaks into high 11s. You gotta learn to power shift I noticed that you lift off the gas and take too long to shift into the next gear
I ran 13s on my n/a lsv integra on street tires tho. Try to no lift shift the next time you go to the track I would practice on the street first and once you get it go to the track. Even with street tires play around with tire pressure
Had throttle issues on my turbo swap. Throttle would hang or drop. My situation was the throttle body, was running an ebay bigger throttle body. Switched over to a skunk 2 and it went away.

This was happening on my s2000. I would come to a stop and have to slide my foot under the gas peddle and lift my foot to close the TB so it wouldnt idle high
It’s like the fkn endless meth injection issues I’ve had for like a year I’ve redone wiring Changed every fkn component Etc etc Works perfect for months then blows fuses and controller boxes for no fkn reason. *a reputable KDM shop did the big turbo and meth install for me on Dec last year. Turbo done great. Meth.. nope. Velo N making over 400.. so when meth fails on WOT pulls .. yea .. makes me uneasy. And the meth kit app does the data logging so I have zero idea what is happening in there when that happens I suspect it’s on the power end (shit powers off a fuse tapper and I wonder if some shit happened in the fuse pannel .. gonna have a new clean install done by some fresh eyes. Long story short-ish.. I COMPLETELY know what u mean about issues making a dope car not fun to drive. So damn frustrating chasing some issue for months. I’m sure u did so much work chasing that TB issue

That’s funny cause i had ktuned tb on my lsv turbo and it kept getting stuck, swapped to a 50$ eBay one and haven’t had an issue since
