Hi prismatic. Is BG a forum with these kinds of builds? I'd love to join something like that. Love seeing what others are getting up to with their builds and may be put what I do with mine on there too. My uprated servo arrived today. I also bought an esc, 7.2v battery and micro receiver.

Your very good at this..... cool looking truck. I really LOVE the c24 and mine is not even here yet. But it's a great hop-up truck. Painted wheels look great-so much better than white.

You have to take it all apart to pain, you should have only the main body when you was painting it. try to lite scrap it with a sharp knife.

Very nice! What kind of paint do you use to spray the body?
Big thanks man, this is an acrilic paint from Barbot, the same that I use on the orange wltoys of the channel. But theres a new paint out there that i really would like to try, Plasti dip. Well If you go on the tamiya sprays, you can't go wrong....they are the ones for this kind of job. But as always on the channel, let's try on a budged first. HEHEHE
Thanks for the quick reply! I thought you would need a primer for these acrylic paints. I have some black plasti dip laying around, I might give that a try.
Your welcome. Yes the primer is need but not mandatory, my 2 first coats was just a lite smoke to create so rough surface so the paint can grab on to that, also some soft sanding before the smoke will help.
Hi! Really nice video - thank you for taking the time to do it! I am new to RC, and am in the UK, and have just ordered the rtr version of this to play with my young son... !! I would like to paint the rims and cab but have never done it before!! I have read other comments- do I have this right? so would I sand the cab and rims down first then do a couple of light sprays before a final one? Also would this paint be ok please? 'TamiyaTS-26 gloss pure white acrylic spray paint'? Hope to upgrade other electronic parts when I'm brave enough! He he Thanks for your help!
Yes, that's correct, a light sand with a high grid sand, 200 up, best a 600, is just to get some micro sractch for the paint to grab and the first two coat make it just like a litlle smoke on it, to create a more rough surface for a better grab of the paint than finish with a nice coat of paint. just before it start to drip.

Thanks a lot man. This was a toy box that i fund on the toy section on a chinese store. A lot of scales on the mix. The oil drums probably on the 1/20s and the cones on the 1/16 or 1/18.

Yes, that's to much for the 1/12 or less. Try to look at some kids store, some cheap road signs for the toy cars, something like that. I then also paint the oil drums red.

Yes, you have a rim with 3,3cm you can fit there any tire that you find with that interior mesure.
