Hi Dennislock, just got the red WPL for my son yesterday. Crawling lastet 5-10 minutes, now driveshaft broken and the pinions are noisy and worn. Completely appreciated your tuning. I am gonna add metal driveshafts and pinions and perhaps a new servo. Like the model, but out of the box it is rubbish.
Those details on the lights! (Turn signals, reverse, and brake lights) Nice! And the steering details! I noticed you did all that with other builds too. Clearly you’ve mastered this. Care to do a tutorial vid showing us how you did it?

Hi, you need to replace original wpl's metal drive shaft, metal axle gear , because the plastic are easy to break.

How did you design the suspension mounts where they connect to the chassis? I noticed they allowed for longer shocks. Thank you!!!
Hi, i made a mount with fiberboard and fixed it to the original screw hole on the chassis, these shocks length hole to hole are 61mm .
i wish there were a lot more cheap rc kits like this

Hi, these shocks bought from taobao 3 years ago and no more stock now, i use Tamiya clear paint X26(clear orange) and X27(clear red) for lights cover.
Really impressive! Did you get a separate damper springs? The originals came with external spring, yours seems to have them on the inside
Thank you, i cut the original spring of wpl shorter 3 to 5mm and put them into the shock then inject 10° oil into the shock.
