Sounds like a Rubber Factory / Let's Rock / Delta Kream combo
The beginning sounds like led Zeppelin and parts of it too never heard of that band I'll check it out
Dont forget the splash of Chulahoma
What a sound! 🔥
And a pinch of Turn Blue
Yes exactly, and don't forget a touch of Led Zeppelin, like El Camino had.
Allman Brothers - Midnight Rider anyone?
It's as if the Allman Brothers and the Beatles had a badass love child.
Midnight Rider?
I am the walrus?
Midnight Rider Allman Bros Vibes
It’s nice to know that the song Baby I’m Coming Home by The Black Keys recycles the riff from Midnight Rider by The Allman Brothers.
If you know anything about music and even if you dont, It's gotta be agreed (even if you don't like this genre) that TBK's are the Real McCoy. Wriggling their way into the TOP 5 of my all time favourite go-to bands that you will always want to listen to. Inspired me to pick up my old nylon gat and it feels GOOD! Thanks you two simple geniuses.. you's revived my faith in music.
Thank you 😊 Black Keys.
I'd say this song definitely would fit in with the others on Let's Rock
It's probably an outtake
This tune could have pulled me through my prison stint nicely...
That's ok though, I can still totally appreciate it out here 😂
Love this OG keys sound
the guitar sounds reminiscent to Allman Brothers - Midnight Rider - great tune
This is just awesome. If you guys see this I wish you the best thanks for such great music.
❤❤❤❤
I really like this one! Awesome 👌 guitar 🎸 and bass
Ya this song sounds familiar but somebody mentioned midnight rider by the Allman Brothers it's cool old classic sounding I like it dam good tune

Black Keys nicking another famous riff.
⚡️🕺♥️
This is rapidly becoming my favorite song, along with "Love Song 20" by Eda Heller. They're both so good. Something to check out.
Awesome however Keyman Brothers
reminds me of led zepelin for some reason
Incrível
Given how sensitive the music industry is to "copycat" song producing, do they have to give songwriting credit to Gregg Allman?
I must know which song
@@thevinmeister5015 midnight rider
I was actually thinking the same
It's literally the same exact riff
Beck would have had to do the same thing with "loser"
I like this album, but this riff here is so clearly midnight rider that it makes me laugh a little 😂
🤷🏼♂️😂 Idk, man, it's hard to own riffs because music builds on itself as more and more people are influenced by certain tracks and incorporate what they hear into their music. Music would be boring without a little bit of hear and take. It's what makes jazz so great
@@adamj6105 I mean it is what it is I’m not saying anybody stole anything or anybody owns that riff, it just simply is the same lol but they made a completely different song out of it so I’m not complaining. Just did chuckle a bit when I heard it 😂🤙
From the skeptics to the haters calling this song a rip-off of the Allman Bro's, ease up on the finger pointing. It's too easy to assume negative intentions right off the bat. Yes, the main riff is Midnight Rider-esque, but everyone walking this earth is influenced by external factors. Whatever influences/resemblances that may exist here, the Black Keys made it their own, and a solid one at that. Tom Petty said it best:
Question: "Have you heard the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Dani California" yet, because obviously it sounds a lot like "Mary Jane's Last Dance"?
Petty: Yes, I have. Everyone everywhere is stopping me. The truth is, I seriously doubt that there is any negative intent there. And a lot of rock & roll songs sound alike. Ask Chuck Berry. The Strokes took "American Girl" [for their song "Last Nite"], and I saw an interview with them where they actually admitted it. That made me laugh out loud. I was like, "OK, good for you." It doesn't bother me…If someone took my song note for note and stole it maliciously, then maybe. But I don't believe in lawsuits much. I think there are enough frivolous lawsuits in this country without people fighting over pop songs."
[*Same goes for Little Black Submarines]
Has nobody ever heard of an homage? This song has all the best tropes of mid-70's rock. It sounds more like Bad Company than Allman Brothers to me despite the riff. I love it.
@@heavierthanairfilms Well said...*unless you're Sam Smith trying to pass 'Stay with Me' for 'I Won't Back Down'.
I feel like you hear a lot of other bands’ influences on Black Keys but that’s actually why I like them…love being able to pick out some of my favorite music in the Black Keys.
modern rock renewed revived remastered
Doesn't it seem like Franklin Roosevelt would like this song?
What?
I guess
It seems like everyone should enjoy this song, Frankie too lol
Henry Wallace more likely would.
Random as heck but I like it. I think Teddy was more of a rocker
How does this one have the lowest hit-count? There's only one better song! Ok maybe 2
What's interesting to me is these guys know this riff is Midnight Rider ... so maybe it's like a tribute in some way ... or maybe they just don't care .... don't matter, this is a bad ass album .........
can someone explain to me what part of this song is the same riff? i just listened to the other song and I didnt hear anything similar?
@@xb2856by allman brothers
Its good but so is Midnite Rider
Lil rip off the Allman Brothers but we like it!!!! More of that boys
This sounds like a song called Baby I’m coming home by the black keys… and it fuckin rocks🤘🏽 people comparing songs here, smh…
@Jay Kay The only similarity is in the main riff, and it's hard to own notes in a certain sequence in a certain key because music is one of those things that continuously builds on itself.
This riff was likely used or influenced by other artists before the Allman Bros. Coming from someone who's done jazz music, where literally so much is quotes and stolen phrasings from other artists, for the purpose of creating something new and interesting, seems silly to me when people get mad at something this simple.
Were you not entertained? Were you bored? Or did the fact that you heard a similar riff ruin the song for ya?
Beck's I'm a loser baby
Isn't this riff from another song?
Idk
Very similar to Midnight Rider by the Allman Brothers
@@BearBryan yes thats it thank you, it was bugging me not knowing
It also has a Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band vibe in the intro and verses on guitar, but indeed it is closer from Midnight Rider.
Not exactly a hard riff to come up with
It also sounds a lot like Delaney & Bonnie's "Comin Home" - ua-cam.com/video/ne3JoIOV8e4/v-deo.html
Eh, not really at all
Es similar...
Lil midnight rider in there
