I understand the need for reserved seats and all but its kind of unfair seeing some with 8000+ merit rank jump to rank of 2000 and everything, imagine someone from general caregory who worked hard and scored have lost their seat because of it..

I'll most likely get lower ranking nifts, but I'll try for spt after first year kya pta koi seat chhood de, ive heard many people dropping out for better institutions or other reasons
It hurts but koi nhi, open seats are fixed I don't think koi catigory vala open ki seat le skta hai yea competition zyada hai, like 3000 ke baad no gen seats but still

Mumbai and bangalore are really good for bftech idk much about the Hyderabad campus but ur rank is good u can get the top campuses meanwhile Hyderabad comes in 5-6 ranking but if its close to ur home then u should consider this reason

If we choose to upgrade our campus and after 2nd round we do not get our preferred campus, can we block the campus we got initially after the 2nd round is over?
Or after the n number of counseling rounds, if we still do not get the preferred campus, do we still have the initial campus we got?

Depends in ur category is it open? Ur rank is decent most preferably u may get in Bangalore but the counselling holds the main role here

So, I guess I'll put my first preference as Bangalore and then Hyderabad (since my cousin lives there and I'm from Odisha, so it'll be helpful). Is Hyderabad a good choice though?
