Thanks for sharing this great farm video mate, awesome usage of old storage drums too BTW, some folk would spend hundreds, or even, thousands of dollars on premade calf housing solutions. Wouldn't be surprised if a traditional style calf hutch could be made from similar materials on a property/home, they cost ALOT to buy as is hey. I repurpose old barrels also. I cut them in half & put skids on the bottom so I can move them easily with the skidsteer. 1000 gallon drums seem to work best for me.

What original size drums did you have to make the shelters? Did you prefer the vertical or the horizontal layout?
Cliffside Acres I'm not sure the size on the drums.....but horizontal layout for sure is the more efficient way!
