Juliet Marillier is amazing! I love her Sevenwaters series which starts with a book based on a folktale about children that change into swans as part of a curse. She also has a Beauty and the Beast retelling with a creepy twist called Heart's Blood that was great. I'm in the middle of her newest series, Blackthorn & Grim, that has a wise woman main character that begrudgingly gets drawn into all these mysteries that have old magic origins. Her writing is so unique and characters so captivating! I can't rave enough about her.
I would love if you do a video about tips for when you stopped reading and you can't start again. I'm sorry for my English, it's not my first language Regards from Mexico
Carmen Anaya I don't think you should apologize for it. Your English sounds good. And while you wait for her to make a video like that I would suggest rereading a book you really love or start a quick summer-y read. Any book by Morgan Matson or Kasie West should do.
Carmen Anaya I agree with the previous commenter! No need to apologize! Although your English is very good, even if your English wasn't good I think it's good that you're trying! Also, have you heard of polandbananasbooks? I think she has something like what you're looking for
I'm from Mexico too!!! And there are many channels that have videos about your situation (they're called reading slumps) such as: jessethereader, abookutopia, polandbananasbooks and Katytastic
Audiobooks Regan! I listen to it when I commute, when I'm doing housework, when I'm to lazy to open a book (Yeah that happens) great whilst packing! And I even read along sometimes.
Seraphina is one of my favorite novels! I'm so surprised it doesn't get enough hype on Booktube. The writing and world building are very descriptive, as is the character development. :)
Maria Snyder's books are amazing! I seldom read books due to lots of interruption (tv series, witcher game, reading slump), so i pick the best books to read if I'm into it. This one is good! And Happy birthday!
Walk on Earth a Stranger and Like a River Glorious (if you end up.marathoning the first 2 books) are amazing historical read with the perfect amount of fantasy added in. I will say both of them have a slow burn pacing, but there are some fast moments to break it up. In the end the journey is worth it. The third and final book is one of my most anticipated reads of the year.
Goodluck with Your TBR. It is possible to accomplish. Happy Early Birthday! And goodluck with your move. I absolutely hate moving, but it must be done.
Yay for July birthdays! Mine is the 7th. I am also moving this month and ending my current job. It's going to be a CRAZY month!! Good luck with all your tbr books! The Disappearances sounds so interesting!
Yay July birthdays! I love your videos, and this actually helped with my emotional state that I have been in due to family issues that have gotten so bad that I don't want to even read right now, and books are my life.
In July, I'm putting the finishing touches on my Sweet 16 (I'm a July baby too), finishing up my dual enrollment college classes, and applying for my first job, so it'll be a busy month. Hopefully I can squeeze a few books in between, even though I feel a reading slump coming on.
I'm reading Walk On Earth a Stranger too this month. I'm planning on reading it when I go to California next week. Rae Carson is my favorite author, so cannot wait to read her newest trilogy. I'm currently reading A Court of Mist and Fury, but I'm planning on just being a mood reader this month, so no tbr
Happy Birthday! Nice line up of reads for the month! I picked up a copy of Sage Alexander and the Hall of Nightmares by Steve copling, The Gentlemans guide to vice and virtue by Mackenzi Lee, One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McMannus, I picked up the Robin Hobb fareseer trilogy, and I finally the Gentleman Bastard Series by Scott Lynch. Currently I am reading Freeks by Amanda Hocking its just ok nothing special lol right now its about a 21/2 to 3 star for me but wait and see how it ends. Enjoy watching your videos! I hope you love your new place!
The Disappearance sounds fun, I'll have to get on that. I also read poison study a few years ago and loved it, no idea why I didn't keep going.. I'll have to get it on my TBR for august. Love your videos, thanks!
I spent ages looking for The Disappearences on Goodreads before realizing that you linked it in the description. Always check the description first, kids.
This sounds like a really ambitious TBR if you have all that going on this month! hahaha. And you have some picks that sound reaally goood! Best of luck!
Happy Birthday! :) This Savage Song and Our Dark Duet is on my July TBR... Hopefully next month I will get my hands on some of the books in Poison and Seraphina series :) My birthday is in July also, so it is the best month of the year ;)
Love your videos! I always write down a list of the books you recommend because you have a very similar literary palette to myself! I think I might have set too lofty of a July TBR goal for myself, also bogfed down with work, but let's see lol
Shadowfell was phenomenal. I'm currently reading the second book in the series. Hope you love it and am looking forward to your thoughts. I've already read Poison Study and loved it m, though it's been a while. I too need to reread it and continue on with the trilogy!
hey, I just love your channel so much and appreciate all the time you put into it!💖💖 I have a question for you! have you read the wheel of time series by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson ?! If you haven't then omg get to work!! it's a commitment but sooooo worth it 💖💖💖
I want to read First We Were IV so badly. I first heard about it from Lala from BooksandLala and it sounds so good. BTW it is my birthday month too. July babies rule
It's my birthday month too! Are you a fellow Cancer or a Leo? ALSO! I was wondering if you were planning on vlogging your move to Chicago, I think that would be really fun to watch! I love moving vlogs for some reason. My only goal for this month is to try and get through The Name of The Wind, and halfway through the second book in the series. It is time!
Thank you for keeping me inspired to keep reading
when I watch your videos I feel that I want to keep reading books all day every day..LOVEEE
This channel got me out of a reading slump 😂
YAY!
i was focusing on the video but then the pug came in the shot and my focus was completely changed to the dog.

A constant struggle. My fiance even knows who Matilda is 😂
Me Too! How funny! I had to go back to make sure I didn't miss anything...
Paying more attention to Matilda than Regan 😂
" the main character who can sense gold underground " ~ hazel from the Heroes of Olympus 😌
Where's my fandom ?😍😍🔥
Katie Ng 😍😍
