Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird - Aircraft Museum Photography

I'm at Duxford photographing this extraordinary spy plane and giving my thoughts on how best to photograph such an aircraft in a museum. This Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird is the only aircraft on display outside the USA.

Photographing aircraft in museums is actually quite difficult. Well, it's easy to get a snapshot but to make a creative photo can be a challenge because there are usually so many other aircraft in close proximity and many other distractions. This is how I go about it using the SR-71 as an example.
