Amazing family great team work
Ladly is so precious with the chicks... the kitty is like, lunch.
Oh yes!!😁😃
I think ladly and the cat see those baby chicks quite differently the cat sees dinner Ladly sees something to take care of. Good timing on the rain. The posthole digger is a real back saver.😊
Haha, YES!!
Hey Cajun family! So glad to see y’all. Excited for the continuing development of the project. Keep pushing! 💙❤️❤️
Thank you Alvin!❤️
Everything getting better and better, but watching your little lady was the best...she is so very adorably cute, the sweetest smiling face❤😊
Thank you so so much!❤️
Angels in the dirt making dirt angels, doggos, baby chicks, concrete, a Hootis or two, gumbo AND cobbler?? Doesn't get much better!!
…but wait there is more!!😉
OK you can just send some of that peach cobbler right on up here to Michigan…. I have my own milk and fork 🤣🤣🙋🏼♂️🇺🇸🔨🪚👊🏼
No problem! 🤣
who needs a gym when you have projects. having a tractor and correct accessories makes things so much easier and allows building to plan, how can you do projects without the supervision of your daughter and her two assistants? what a beautiful family job to look back on. The way that your family help on these days either setting up for the project with earthmoving by croc's bro or cooking for you by captain croc's mom is amazing.
That’s right! 💪 “croc’s bro” I LOVE IT! They are so good to us! We are very fortunate to have family close by and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
That was a "hole" lot of information today 🤣 I took a "pole" and everyone enjoyed the video as well 🤣 Ok... ill see myself out now 🤣🤣 My favorite part, no offense, was the dirt angels. Gotta love the free spirit of small children. Great seeing yall again, see ya next time!!
😂 Bodie, always here to make us laugh!! 😂
loved the 'big toe stickin' out of your ribcage' comment. i might start using it...
😁🤣😁🤣
Can’t wait to see the finished work y’all take care over there.❤️😎🇺🇸
Thank you Joe!
Man! Oh, man! S, excited for this build!
Us too!!
nice music while the boss laid out pipe . Nice dirt angels , Ladley ;
Thank you David!
Do ya think that chain was big enough to hold the plastic down? Glad to see you are working on the shed! Your sweet little girl was so gentle with the chicks! So sweet ! Thanks for sharing your story!
Hi! Yes! It worked great. 😁
Jim drilling holes like a boss!
💪💪💪
At the end you can really see your plan for the layout of the containers. It looks like y'all did a great job placing the pipes. Question... what is y'all's plan for this pipes near the house?
I'm a little surprised you did not go with sonotubes for your footings, but I'm sure you know what you're doing. Looking good so far and Lydia handles those bags of concrete like a boss. Good job.
Thanks! This is what we had on hand and it didn’t cost anything. So we used it!
Watching you daughter grow is such a joy
Hey Dad, I can see you married well. She totes those 80# bags like an oversized purse, I wouldn't dare talk back!!!!@@!@!@@@!!!!! LOL My better struggles with a 10# bag of sugar. We've always had a division of labor at our house. She doesn't mess with my outside work@@!!!!! However, I can run the sweeper, dust the high places, paint the walls, change the light bulbs, you get the idea. I'm still saving my dry poor concrete projects for your next visit to Springfield.
This comment is too funny Daniel! Springfield dry pour project….. sounds like a summer time event😂
Loved the Dirt Angels 💜
I'm Sure U Were Greatful They Weren't Mud Angels 😉😂😜
Prayerfully U Have a God Blessed Week 🙏
Oh VERY MUCH!!🤣
Thank you!!
2:11 Dogs can't distinguish reds, greens, and browns -- it's all yellow to them. However, blue is very visible to them. Maybe try to buy blue threads next time, or paint them blue for him!!
Oh, awesome!! Good to know!
Man, that gumbo looked delicious!! Yall lucky suckers!! Jim, I see old blue in the back, y she ain't on the argue!! As always, see yall Friday friends ❤
It sure was! Can’t beat it. 😄
Good morning Cajun Country Ernie from NYS. You are making great progress on your shipping container project. Can't wait to see how it all turns out. Enjoy your videos.
Good morning!☕️ thank you so much!
Hey just curious if ya poured concrete down the pipe? Was thinking if ya didn't would water stand in them causing them to rust out quicker? Looking forward to the build. 😁
We did not since we are going to be welding on them soon. We will be covering the tops up too! 😁
I commented on your last video about this,,, I see you have good reinforcement at the corners. If you are going to place the 2nd level of containers 90 degrees to the first, they also need direct corner support. The roof channels cannot support the weight of a container sitting across it. Am anxiously waiting to see how the supports will be added.
Other than this, I like the shop concept. I do enjoy your videos. Thanks!
Thanks for the advice!
I know you do and will, but guard that little girl. She has one of the kindest and gentlest spirits I have ever seen our Lord place into a human being. Zero doubt she is your gift from God. She will continue to bring great joy and peace into this world.
Blessings to you…all three.
We sure will❤️
Your husband is really working you hard good job guys 💪
Thank you Donald!
Lidia and Jim, I sure wish you would have at least placed about 8 inches of concrete in the bottom of those holes. While the posts are rough and provide a good bit of resistance, punching shear is a real possibility. At the least a rebar through each post would go a long way to prevent the risk of punching shear. Love the channel
Hi! The pipe isn’t going to be holding the container. The containers will sit on the concrete pad, so the weight will be on the slab. The pipe will be cut off with the concrete pad and will have a place welded to it just in case we have a bad hurricane or bad weather, the containers can’t move.
Can't think of a better way to end the day.....gumbo and peach cobbler...have a great weekend
You got that right!
Down here in Louisiana we can usually dig with a shovel with how soft the ground it but Cajun country can confirm it is dry down here with cracks in the ground due to the lack of rain it is so bad over 10 thousand acres burned down love y’all Cajun country ❤
Right!!
Where are you guys at? Missing the 2 videos a week. Love to watch the videos and all the projects y’all have going on.
New video today! 😁
Yum! Good groceries right there. I like the heavy duty storm shelter mounts. Have fun and don't eat too much lol!!
Thank you Rick!!
Y'all have a safe and wonderful Halloween someday from West Virginia
Thank you David!
Nice job like always you guys working together to get it done that is so cool 😎 keep it up can’t wait for the next video 🫵🏻👊🏻👍🏆 🦂
Thank you Carlos!!
That's not an incubator..I thought it was a baby chicken delivery hootis.
Bobby, you’re SO RIGHT!
The chicks are cute as Ladly , she such a beautiful girl with gorgeous eyes, your guys in big trouble 😂, I can’t wait to see you lay the containers , , great channel ❤❤
Thank you so much!😁
How did you guys meet? I'm from Chicago too my hubby is from crystal lake area,
Hi! We had mutual friends set us up. 😁
Really good project that's going to pay dividends. Well anchored for high winds or storms with multiple uses. It's very cost effective and very little labour intensive so far accept the placing of the 80 pound bags of concrete mix.
Thank you so much!!
Curious, I may have missed it but did you add water to the concrete around the posts or just take advantage of the rain?
We let Mother Nature take care of it!
Peach cobbler now you are talking. just saying
Yes!!
Oh boy oh boy did that peach cobbler look good. You have a great MIL.
She’s the best, truly. I wished that everyone had someone in their life like her. ❤️
Curious if you are going to put any concrete inside the pipe too... even if a little?
We didn’t because we are going to be welding on the pipe soon.
Did Baby girl wont to sleep next to the chicks that night
Even better..She wanted to bring them to bed with her.
Jim, I can't believe you didn't make "dirt angels ". That would have been the first thing I did.😁
Moving right along ...lov from south alabama.
Yes!
Beautiful, beautiful people!!! You two are a gift from God to all of us! I am in PA, a single 67 yr old that is going to do some dry pouring cement. My family thinks I'm nuts for trying it in PA. We'll see who gets the last laugh. Now ... to lift the 90 lb bags. .... Hmmm ;) Love y'all. Blessings to you!
Great video. Keep up the great work. 👍👍❤❤..
Thank you Larry!
The cat was looking out like they was dinner
😁😅🥹
I love this!! That auger sure was handy!
We are very thankful!
Oh, I can feel this video lol. So happy the rain worked out for you this time around! Love when it does that! 😀 Looking forward to watching this project come to life!! 🤩
BTW, as her parents, I'm sure already know this, but Ladly is growing like a weed! 😢 Make it stop! 😅
I see the Jim build tractor in the background, does it run yet?😮😅 totally the best way to drill a hole. Go deep enough you may hit water 😊 Baby chickens! How cute 🥰 🐣 You guys must be gearing up for a fried chicken recipe 😊❤ Is that drill pipe? What did you use that for on the farm? Another great video, until the next one 😊❤
Sweet, only thing different I would have done was weld some round bar/rebar to bottom of pipe to give added strength biting power to keep pipe from pulling up! Along with hurricanes also bring tornados Watching y’all build gives me ideal since I’m closer to Gulf then y’all!!!!❤
Sweetheart Miss Ladley.❤❤Best dirt Angels ever I’m sure.👼🏻
I have a question. What is more economic, premixed bags of concrete or buying Cement, Sand and Gravel separately? Would there be a point where the cost would dictate one over the other? Just wondering. Art in Calif.
Ohhh wow that’s definitely a job and a half to do!!! Excellent job!!!! Can’t wait to see the containers in there right place and u being able to do more stuff on the containers!!!!
Do y'all ever mix and pour, or just dry pour? Seems like it could save some time to mix in a wheel barrel? Love y'all. Keep up the great content!
Girl you nearly picked up 2 of me. Be careful of your backs please bend with the knee's mummy coming out again 😂😂😂
My heart just melted when I saw your sweet baby girl holding that chick. Sheer joy in her face and how gentle she was cupping it in her hands. Made me smile as big as my state of Texas!!!
There are Tata’s there but keep the slinger on them lol
😂😂😂
I’m jealous of your weather, I was wearing a winter jacket today and I have a heated blanket on my bed already 🥶🇨🇦
I emailed Jim to give me a call, but the video is exactly the answer. Thank you.
Pad looks good. Ready for rebar? Will you bond all the steel to ground? Thanks for sharing
Love Lady and the chicks. She is so sweet with the chicks. It is ßo cool how y'all figure out how to do the concrete slab.🐘🙌💐🙏🌼👍🌻🖖🌷✌️♥️👏😎🤟🦋🖐️🙂
She sure is!😘❤️🐣
NOT ONLY DIRT ANGELS ...BUT SHE IS ALSO THE REAL COWGIRL ...NO DRIVING AND NO UNLOADING PIPE
I Love your channel!!! Much respect for all you’ve accomplished!!! Wonderful build!!! And I Love that you’re so consistent with your video drops🙂
Thank you!!
Ahhhhh those baby chicks r soooo cute!!!! And your little one is sooo happy that she can care for them!!!
I’m a few days late but great work as usual guys! I can’t wait for tomorrow’s video
Love y’all ❤
Thank you!❤️
Ladly is so darned cute! She going to mother those chicks and be loving on them. She did an excellent job on the dirt angels. Lydia, you got your workout toting those 80lb bags around. Nice job you guys. Dinner looked great and the peach cobler ... doesn't get any better than that in my book! Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
She sure is. ❤️ she absolutely loves them!🐣
Oh yes, my back is feeling it still!!
Hey y'all 😘, soo much hard work and a little fun mixed in too.. looking good so far and good luck with the new babies, ladly approved 👍
Thank you John!😁😃
Wow Jim was sure nice to let carry the 80lb bags of cement. Love seeing the progress. You both deserved that kiss at the end. Ladly sure looked cute!
Thank you Gary!
I swear Ladly is cuter than a speckled pup. What a Blessing she is. Just finished a barn with same concreted pipes and pray your better with string lines than me. Somehow one out of 20 was off. Luckily on the inside. This is gonna be a fun project to follow.
Thank you!❤️
HOW ARE YOU GUYS LIVING MY DREAM? IVE DREAMED ABOUT THIS AND NEVER TOLD ANYONE

Thank you Sam! We will be in touch with you soon, btw. Thanks for the love & support!
Your little girl is so beautiful. She loved the chicks. Her smile of joy said it all. And there is nothing better than have baby chicks.
Thank you Masha!
Jim i think you owed Lydia a great back massage after all the concrete. Ladly is so precious with the baby 🐥.
I 100% agree!😅
Everything looks good
Thank you!!
no water needed with the concrete ??
We let Mother Nature do the work.
Muling poor Lydia all over in this one.
I like the work.😉
@@CajunCountryLivin and you do a great job and work hard. You both do. I was just funnin' with y'all.

I will be watching to see each step of this project.Looks as if kitty is interested in the chicks.
Awesome Ralph!
Wow that shed is gunna keep y'all busy to Spring.
That’s the plan! 😜
augers are the best thing since sliced bread, had to get one after digging 2 post holes by hand and still had 30 to go for a chain link fence. Great job y'all. 👍👍
Oh yes! I bet Jim wishes they had that when he was younger! We might end up getting one as well. Very handy!
@@CajunCountryLivin I use mine more than I thought, got 2 different size auger blades, one for smaller fence posts & a larger size for 4 "x 6" posts. Sure saves ones back.
Ladly looked so grown up with her hair down! She is so precious! Y'all work together so well - keep it up! You're doing great!!
She’s is so stinkin’ tall for her age too! ❤️
Thank you for watching!
@@CajunCountryLivin she's growing like a weed!!

Miss seeing y'all like before two days a week, but I understand y'all have a lot going on overyonda. Me been having a rough week, can't sleep at night can't stay awake during the day.
