There is nothing more enjoyable than watching a beautiful young lady welding. I was in the trade for over 45 yrs. During that time there were very few women welders, you made my day.

Nice job, and great looking welds. Lydia, always have safety glasses on when running a power wire brush. I have had wire bristles stick in my arm. Wouldn't want anything to happen to those beautiful eyes.

I like the fact that you switch off and you both are doing it. What a beautiful young welder she is. Your welds will hold much better if you clean the rust from both surfaces.

This video was chocked full of goodness!! "in the middle of "you gotta pretty mouth Louisiana"" almost killed me 🤣🤣. I kinda hate to say it Lydia, but I think Ol' Capt. Crocs beat ya on the welding comp this time. But hey, at least you tried and still did very well and way better than I could have ever done. Crazy how fast the little squirrels are growing as well. So good to see the little supervisor on the job site as well. Yall, she is so adorable! Looks like the MCRH Hootis come out pretty great. Cant wait to see it in action. If the tires rub, put them on backward. The offset in the wheel should give more clearance. Nevermind. Wouldn't work with the recessed cup on the lug nut side...

Good video. Probably a good idea to wear safety glasses when you’re wire wheeling your welds or if you are using an auto shade helmet, flip your hood down while buffing welds.

You can add a support underneath the tube running side to side with a spacer in the middle to help keep the arch if you need to.

Wow! "The Ultimate Hootis" looks like something NASA would use on the moon! That closing scene with Jim and the flag riding off into the sunset brought a tear to my eye. Kinda the way I felt as a kid every time Roy Rogers and Trigger would ride away.😭Dang, now I'm all sad and everything, ya'll gotta stop doing this to me! TIP: But doing excellent with the squirls. As any animal you or whomever adopts... Use a warm wet cloth to bathe, help potty and open eyes. Plus it cleans. (Great job Friends!)

I’ve thought about buying a shipping container for a make shift workshop but I live in a restricted neighborhood and I’ve been here since 1984 and don’t know how my neighbors would accept it because I’d have to have it for a while until I can get a new building put up! As usual you just did something and it looks great👍. But this ultimate hootis brings you a small problem you should work out before you start building your workshop. That problem is: how much space do you folks need for your hootis-museum? This ultimate hootis is big! By the way when do you expect to open your hootis-museum? I would like to visit it since I can’t remember how many hootisses you have made already.

Your squirrels are so cute! I feed them and watch them on my deck and in the trees but it never occurred to me to have them as pets! I missed that in your story... How did that come about?
They had fallen out of a nest at one of our family members home. We took them in to raise them and we will let them go when they’re big enough to make it on their own.
I would have welded a pipe inside the two axle ends as well as outside the ends , to make sure it’s stronger.
