    2 years of swinging the dragon slayer, and it’s got only a few nicks and scratches along the edges. Adam really outdid himself on crafting this huge masterpiece of steel here!!😎

    I'm actually most impressed by the black oxide layer that's still reasonably intact. It's not really intended to be a durable layer at all.

    If your going against 2 people your kinda screwed but if you use a actual greatsword you can easily fend very unpractical even if you had super strength Because at that point you might as well use greatsword anyways it’s longer and faster

      Hello! Thanks for commenting!
      Welcome to the first and only real giant sword channel that uses actual sharp and hardened steel giant swords to train and do tests with!
      However, I have probably answered or rebutted a comment like yours before and have decided to create this much more streamlined approach.
      So if this does not answer your question, it’s probably close enough in my opinion. This is not meant to be rude, but I just don’t have enough time to answer all comments. Which I want to do! Mostly…
      1. You are too slow, I’m gonna stab you! You can’t hit or recover fast enough.
      Answer: When I first started I was slow, but I have become faster! In this video I simply drop the blade to show how much damage it can do through the power of gravity. I’ll be sure to have a better target next time. This video is old, unfortunately the only one going viral and does not give the best example. I recommend checking out my channel more in-depth.
      Furthermore..
      This video was not meant to say “I am the fastest ever, no weapon can touch me, you all suck!” Which appears to be what most are determined to interpret it as, or they are unhinged and upset by the video.
      However, since this video I have become comfortable doing sprinting attack, running attacks, jump attacks and more. So my control of the weapon has increased and will continue to do so as I develop more training techniques.
      This Short was actually a small part of a response video to Shadiversity when he decided to give giant swords a try. In the video, I had already been training for some time and I decided to test his ideas out. It was a good video, and having already been training with my giant sword since January 2022 I thought I could be the only one to test them out. Video link below, Anyways, my goals and training are about testing the human body and developing my giant sword techniques, Which I call the Colossus Form and then seeing how far I can go. I’m no anime character, and I have a lot of improvement ahead of me, but I am getting better all the time!

    Be buried with it to mess with future archeologists.
    How does it handle with what appears to be a completely cylindrical handle? A more oval/elliptical handle helps with edge alignment on "normal" swords, so how is the edge alignment on a colossal sword?

    Judging by the sheer Force this swords has in its swings, I think my Flamberge would be a terrible choice to use against it. The little inward curves of the flamed blade would be too good to catch the Dragonslayer and damage my flamberge.

      The technique stays with me, but not training regularly can quickly catch up to you. It's not as much of a struggle as when I started (I could barely move it around to store it) Now I can do sprint attacks with it.

  • @SkullOfTheRaven
    @SkullOfTheRaven 9 місяців тому

    Genuine question here. If your goal is just to see the extent of the human body and whatnot, then why have you said on multiple occasions that swords like this are in fact practical (including your response to Shad)? Obviously when people talk about a sword being practical, they are talking about how effective it is in combat. So why have you consistently said that it's practical even though that's not the case or even what your goal is?

    • @DigitallyTwistedOutlaws1178
      @DigitallyTwistedOutlaws1178  9 місяців тому

      Because most people do not understand the meaning of the word practical. Or they are desperate or unhinged enough to abuse the meaning of the word and mix it up with efficient or effective in their arguments against me. You are doing the same. "Obviously when people talk about a sword being practical,"
      You are abusing and misusing the word as well. Notice how I never said giant swords were the most effective or efficient? I can't claim because I don't know. I can claim they are dangerous, near impossible to block and are impact weapons that can cut or destroy even armored targets opponents. But nobody, including you, wants to talk about that because then you have to admit that giants swords are practical. Gatekeepers, let me tell ya. Lol
      DEFINITION:
      Practical: of or concerned with the actual doing or use of something rather than with theory and ideas.
      "there are two obvious practical applications of the research"
      So no, you are incorrect. It is practical and my Colossus Form continues to improve and you and the other naysayers will continue to see the results. I already have the footage and receipts on what can be done and measured improvement.
      The other day I had my #1,000 "you are slow and you suck" message.
      So I went out and I did a test and found out that when I don't control myself (I emphasize control first when training) I can move the dragonslayer faster than even I knew.
      It's on my most recent Short.
      16.5mph was my overall speed. The average human can only punch 15mph according to MMA studies.
      So is that practical enough for you?
