I love this type of videos because we're still kind of in lockdown in Germany and I'm not a fan of ordering fabric online so I'm always looking for ideas on what to make with the fabric I still have at home.
I’m with you on that I don’t like ordering fabric online as I worry it’s nothing like what’s advertised or not good quality, the ideas for buying materials from charity or thrift stores plus buying oversized garments and cutting them down is great also
Today I was thinking about how cute envelope clutches are and how I wish I knew how to make them and this literally popped up in my feed! So weird but so perfect ahh! In love with these projects and really want to tried them, thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you Janelle. ..I get soo excited when I see 10 minute projects. ... Love them all especially the eye mask...been wanting to do one.. You amazing. ..remain blessed xxx
I love your scrap buster videos because I actually want to make them all, thanks for sharing, the timing was just right my ironing cover needs replacing and I never would have thought to make my own, yours turned out amazing🖤
Hi Janelle, some more lovely ideas. Coincidentally, I've just been making ironing board covers for my stall. I'm not sure how many people still use an iron but I guess I'll find out! I have two ironing boards, a regular size and a mini table-top board which is great for small items. I'm keen to get one of those mini crafting irons I've seen in you tube clips. Thank you for your weekly spots of sunshine ♥
Definitely gonna try the envelope clutches! Love the ironing board cover too! 🧡 thanks for another 10 minute project video. They are one of my favourites!!
Love love love these! I will be doing the ironing board cover! As I always have trouble finding one to fit! (As it’s old 🙈) Perfection as always janelle 😍
Thanks for the tutorial! I think I’ll be able to adapt the ironing board cover to create one for a piano/keyboard I want to protect from dust. I want to try the bows as well, they look so cute💗💗
You can buy replacement felt pass for your ironing board, Brabantia make a large pad that you can cut to size, the new cover looks good, but the foam underneath appears to be breaking down. When I replaced the pad on my ironing board it made a big difference. If the foam becomes too thin you can start to get the impression of the metal mesh of the board impressed on to your fabric
Huge thanks for these projects Janelle, they are so helpful and practical, I am guessing you have a pretty good idea of how much scrap fabric I have lol. 💐🧵😘
Another Simple video on how to prepare fabric for cutting, like how to make out fabric length side, width side and how to place either length side or width side to cut the patterns, I saw so many videos non explain completely, they start intially in deatil but towards the end they assume we know and rest of video they finish in hurry, You explain so well, I would appropriate if you make one
I was just thinking I should replace my ironing board cover 😄 you seem to always make videos on just what I want/need 🙃 (also, I love hair bows so much! lol)
I love your 10mnts projects I always watch them, a small request, if you can make 10 mnts video on all type of sewing machine foot how they look, what are they used for and how to use them. would help beginners like me. especially that you used while malking skirt in one of recent video
Yay! I love these kind of videos, and I can’t wait to watch it and see whether I would make any!!! Edit, I’m definitely going to make the tote bag!! It looks sooo nice. Thank you so much! I would like to show you, but I don’t have Instagram:(
Hi Janelle. ....not sure if you have done a spectacle / glasses case already...if not would you consider doing one with your next project please...thank you xxxx
I really wanna learn how to sew a dress!! Like a simple bodycon with spaghetti straps dress! I would really like some tutorials on "how to start" sewing 😶
Thank you for the inspiration Janelle! I have been wanting to make a new cover for my iron board for quite a while but couldn't find the courage. I actually have the perfect leftover piece of fabric so I will give it a go now!
Thank you Janelle, I love these videos. You show some lovely projects. What are you knitting this season. I'm currently knitting beanies for my 2 great nephews in Tasmania. Have a nice day. from your NSW neighbour. xx
Aw how lovely! They are going to need them that’s for sure! I’m soo close to finishing my popcorn cardigan (I might hopefully finish it today actually), and then I have another, chunkier cardigan planned. I shared a look at it in my latest sewing plans video if you’d like to see 😊 Have a lovely day x
Looove eye masks as a scrap buster. You can also double the scrap busting potential by making the wadding with scraps. I’ve done this by layering 2 layers of fleece or 4 of flannel and sewing those together. Waste not want not!
I've never really thought bout this but whenever I search things to sew I always write: things to sew for beginners, but I've been sewing for five years (since I was 6) So I'm not a beginner, I've only used a sewing mechine like 3 times because I'm a hand sewer but I guess I'm more advanced?
It would have to be 100% natural fabric (cotton etc), and I guess the thicker the fabric the longer it would last! I would say my fabric was a light-mid weight cotton 😊
Yep it’s an Oliso! You should be able to find them on Amazon (or just google it and something will pop up). They are expensive, but it’s an amazing iron!
I love your 10 minute sewing projects! Especially since they are beginner friendly and can be used with scrap fabric!
Thanks! I’m so glad you like them 🧡

Oh my gosh, an ironing board cover?! So cute.
I love it 😍
I love it! But I hardly believe that's from scrap fabric... or maybe I'm not buying enough fabric 🧐
@@marsansalgado I believe it may have been been from fabric she may not have wanted. Still cute

शानदार वीडियो और सुंदर प्रस्तुति, साझा करने के लिए धन्यवाद, पूरी घड़ी! आशा है आपका समय अच्छा बीते
May I know which type of fabric is best for each? I'm a super beginner and I buy store online. There are so many, it's very hard to choose.

Yes totally! Love this idea - the more scraps we can use/up-cycle the better!
chopsticks or wooden pencils works too if u don't have a knitting needle
I'm going to make some fabric envelopes for everyone's sunglasses, my mum loves huge ones and never finds cases for them

You should collaborate with Wendy or with Annika!
That would be a dream! 😍
@@RoseryApparel just ask them! I‘ll definitely comment your channel name on their next videos or community posts 😊
So easy for the ironing board, will do this on my boyfriend's board since his cover is hideous. Can it be any type of fabric?
It would have to be 100% natural fabric (cotton etc), and I guess the thicker the fabric the longer it would last! I would say my fabric was a light-mid weight cotton 😊
envelope clutch/holder thing 6:58
Hello,I want to ask something
What type of fabric you use for the eye mask?
I really need to make a new ironing board cover but the foam in mine is also gone - not sure what to replace it with
Just order some foam online that should be good
Amei😍
What model of overlock do you use? Thank you in advance :)
What sewing machine do you use?
I wish to have this kind of sewing machine😭😭
Sorry to bother : which were the dimensione of the rectangles for the tote bag?
Summary:
1. Eye mask
2. Tote bag
3. Envelope
4. Hair bow
5. Iron board cover
I absolutely love these 10mins sewing projects, but can you PLEASE write number of measurements. i kind of have a hard time keep up lol.
Hey there just to let you know that the Page for the free Download is not Working
I like your iron! Where did you get it?
It's an oliso iron available from spotlight. Also in yellow
😊
Sorry I’m in the USA where is Spotlight? Is it a store or a web sight?
Yep it’s an Oliso! You should be able to find them on Amazon (or just google it and something will pop up). They are expensive, but it’s an amazing iron!

how do you sew without pins??! it baffles me every time 😂

I love your video but it’s too fast to understand the measurements.
