Malaysia's Mulu Pinnacles, Sep 2023

A mini-hike (3D/2N) to the unique limestone pinnacles on the slope of Gunung Api in the Gunung Mulu National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Easy hiking to "Camp 5" for the 2 nights there, while the 2.4km hike up to 1200m altitude, from where you can view the Pinnacles, is somewhat demanding. This is mostly due to the mountain slope terrain consisting of lots of sharp limestone rocks. Many hikers require 4 hours for the ascent, and 4-5 hours for the descent, and so did we.
Mulu Pinnacles is already quite unique, but if you want to experience even more uniqueness, try some Almond/Tiramisu/Chili-flavored Sarawakian chocolate!
