But Jesse on the other hand is honest from the beginning and Jane accepts it and they move on.

i like how all the honesty and important talk happens outside. they're more honest with what they want and their smoking is their flaw that symbolizes their moral indifferences and their willingness to be "bad" outside. tv is their childish wonder but you can argue it wasn't about the tv at all but the fact that humans inherently want and care for each other and will hop on any excuse to be together. both of their empathy comes from feeling like an unworthy children. perfect scene imo.

She may have been grateful temporarily but as soon as her stash and bank account ran dry she would have forgotten all about it and been back on the blackmail train. Letting Jane die was the right move for Walt.

EDIT: the opinion is rare I’ll grant you that. But every time I rewatch the show the season sticks out to me the most, it’s almost like Vince got a green light to finally get creative and experimental
