5.7 can beast with a little bit of work, it's the little brother to the 6.1 and 6.2, and can build just as much power....if one wished to invest that kind of money in a 345. Personally, I'm stroking and doing a single turbo on a 3rd gen 5.7 rumble bee right now. Should be able to show any TRX what time it is soon enough, if she'll hook.
Whats your gas mileage like? I've been itching to get a 5.7 but I have a V6 and get 30 highway 20 city. 22 avg. Need to drive 50 miles to work every day.
Lmao the other car literally said RT. RT IS A 5.7. RT SCATPACK is an rt with a 392. THE SRT 392 up until 2015 was a baby hellcat basically 6 piston brembos etc. Now you just have the scat pack 392 you can equip it as you like of course as far as brakes etc.
I mean, you get what you pay for i guess. Charger... Mustang... cheap cars made for poor people. Literally the slogan Ford lived by with the mustang. "Poor mans sports car". The real exceitment comes when you get a Camaro or better. Hell, my basic AF G35 would toast half of the chargers on the road, or more. I had people say no to races... cause they bangin with the 3.5s. Yikes. But its a cHARgEr!~ Nobody cares. They are police cars. Police never use actually well crafted sports cars, just okishly fast and cheap. I mean, its pretty embarrassing when a ford SHO can stomp your ass. But thats what happens when you decide to make a drag car weigh as much as a truck. "Top speed of 160!" yeah, in the 3 mile.

5.7 great for daily driving good power and more reliable/better gas
Ah yes, driving a 350ci for the fuel economy

@@fireesol I get 30-31 in my 5.7 on the highway. Set the speed at 72 and don’t give it the beans unless you have to. Let the MDS do its thing.
The 6.4 is solid as far as reliability especially since newer 6.4s use the BGE block very similar to the hellcats.
Sits in the driveway and RUSTS

Yep, i have a 392 durango. Theyre speaking the truth. 😂😂

5.7 sound wise.. 6.4 speed & power wise
Intake tube coming out straight towards the radiator and then a 90 bend is the quickest way to check.
Gas. Lots of gas. Lots of money for lots gas.
What's up with the "surface rust" on two new car engines ?
It’s only on the 5.7 we have. Happens during transport sometimes. They don’t come covered
@@driveawaywithnate You must be in the Midwest. That doesn't happen here in AZ. My 2021 Challenger has zero rust. Thanks for the response.

There were 6.4l engines that were painted black.
I'll stick with my 7.2 liter thanks.
