- In this video, I showcase my 22nd instrument build. It was built as part of a patriotic-themed cigar box guitar swap off. The artwork was done by my brother, Mark Gerardi. You can check his art at these links:

Love it Steve, your builds just get better and better. Sounds mellow too, nice! 😎
Thanks, Rachel! You are too kind! I need to take some time to learn to play it better!
Nice build Steve! Sounds good
Nice build, Steve and a good sound.
Thanks! That's high praise! I really liked this one and was sad to part with it. I guess I need to build one for myself to keep now, LOL!
Love the paint job looks so cool🐾🤠🥍
Thanks! I really like how it turned out.
Very nicely done, Steve.
Thanks! I like building using cookie tins.
This is so great!
Thanks!
That is a really nice build Steve. Great work. Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it but what is the scale length? It looks like a 26" maybe.
Thanks! I really like how it turned out. I hated to send it off, LOL! I guess I need to make another one for myself. It’s 25” scale. The same as the one I built for you. I’m sure the plain headstock is driving you nuts! I think I need to come up with a brand, or maybe make water-slide decals for future builds.
@@stevesstrings5243 Yeah, a Steve's Strings logo would be cool.
Nice, how about a fretless slider and a few riffs :-)
I’ve been thinking about building another fretless instrument. I’ve built a few. Check out my other builds! I’m afraid I’m still better at building them than playing them 😉.
@@stevesstrings5243 welcome to my world, my builds are playable, but I don't think I'll be opening up an online outlet anytime soon ( never :-).
I give some of them away to the family!
Dare I call it a……”banjuitar”?
That name works for me! Thanks for watching and commenting!
