Cin's death scene should've been shown on screen. He's literally the duelist instructor of the temple. Whether Anakin is the chosen one or not, fighting him should've been a goddamn challenge.
You and I might not mind watching it but not the general audience who were watching the film and sometimes as often happens with movies that are very long something has to hit The Cutting Room floor and eventually it does cuz sometimes too much of something is unnecessary but like I said previously they should go back and we believe this with all the scenes added back in with the Star Wars director cut trilogy the George Lucas Edition

He was a boss in the Revenge of the Sith Ps2 game, and his duel with Anakin is very cinematic. Would love to see it in live action, in an extended cut of Revenge of the Sith
That walker crush fate was actually badass but poor Barriss shouldn’t be the one to suffer that fate, it should be ki adi mundi instead. It does give you an insight on what real damage a at-at walker can really do besides shooting. Imagine how many droids got crushed by those offscreen.
The released scene version of Vader killing Younglings was heart-wrenching enough. A version of him putting his lightsaber through an innocent, little girl's THROAT!? Fuck off with that idea- it's fucking from Satan.

All I've ever wanted to watch was a full showing of order 66 I really want to see what really went down that's what I've been wanting on TV shows,in a movie I've been waiting for more about order 66. This is a very interesting concept to me
It's the moment of utter defeat, absolutely sadness and assured destruction and is the swift moment that defines the Original Trilogy. I want a series just titled "66" and make it a series that just follows the few hours that the order takes place within. Some assumed 200 jedi died during the purge so I'd like to see alot of them.
The animated series The Clone Wars has a great Order 66 scene towards the end of season 7. The show is very good, season 1 being the weakest in the series. Fills in a lot of context for the prequels. Takes place between prequel 2 and 3 and concurrently with 3 in season 7.
They did a great job of building up the relationship between Ahsoka and the 501st; to the point watching order 66 go down between them is gut-wrenching.
I would have loved to have seen Anakin/Vader vs Cin Drallig. As horrific as the original written scene was, I wish George rewrote it so it wouldn’t be as horrific but still impactful. We really only saw 501st Clones shooting at Jedi and only one scene of Anakin in the Council Chamber with the younglings igniting his lightsaber. A brief duel between Anakin and essentially three Jedi (two padawans and a master) I think would have shown just how brutal Vader was compared to Anakin when facing his former fellow Jedi. As far as the rest of the deleted scenes mentioned, what we saw in the final cut with the other Jedi Masters being killed was fine. Anakin’s actions after his turn I thought needed to be shown more and him storming the Jedi Temple I thought was a missed opportunity. Still keeping my fingers crossed for that lightsaber giveaway!
I would have liked to see Jar Jar Binks being stabbed in the back by clone troopers when it's revealed that he was actually force sensitive, Qui Gon knew it too, that's why he let him tag along, but ultimately he brought about the rise of Palpatine when Jar Jar unwittingly used his mind trick powers to get the senate to give all their powers to Palpatine making him Emperor, so yeah Jar Jar should have been killed too 😁
In the Legends universe Quinlan Vos actually survived his failed execution which is portrayed as the same in the deleted scenes. You can see his survival in the Republic comics. Plus Barris was also executed in the same manner which is presented in the deleted scene. You can find the executions of other Jedi that were portrayed in the deleted scene and the final cut of the film on the Republic comics and the comic adaptation of the film.
Awesome video! I think it would have been cool to see Shaak Ti’s death. Not when grievous kills her but the other deleted scene where Anakin stabs her in the temple. Really anything that shows Anakin’s descent into darkness would have been nice.
It doesn’t sound like these scenes would have added anything to Ep. III, but the fact the Order 66 sequence was originally intended to be a lot longer is interesting and I’d definitely be interested in seeing a fully uncut Order 66.
In the Revenge of the Sith comic. Barris was killed on Felicia by an AT-TE but she was blown up from the blast instead of the smaller turrets gunning her down in an instant
I don't know I personaly think what we ended up is enough. Too much of the same thing (clones killing Jedi) would break the emotion of the scene (I think), like: Oh another Jedi dead,... and another,... and another...and another. The final cut gets the idea across pretty well, without streching it out too much.
Order 66 between Ahsoka and the 501st was heartbreaking. They did such a great job building up the relationship there, and watching it crumble like that was rough.

Nah most of those deaths don’t make sense so it’s best they were cut. A tank “sneaking” up on bariss... sounds unlikely... vos getting blasted and not sending that... it’s already hard to believe cin drallig got dragged by anakin while fighting other Jedi... all of it doesn’t make sense... and anakin and obi wan were sent to rescue the chancellor.. weird that shaak to being captured was never mentioned.. but I guess that death of hers makes more sense then her getting stabbed in the back by anakin at the temple.
I agree but it makes sense that anakin would be able to kill many Jedi masters like sin drallig if we are to believe he personally killed many Jedi during order 66

I know this video was published a year ago, but I would have honestly liked to see these deaths occur, to feel more of the sorrow that the Jedi lost so many, this has been beautifully detailed I understand thar also when ROTS came out there were a lot of chores, myself being one of them, that would have been scared or traumatized, but I now seeing it as an adult feel it would have been acceptable. Or have 2 versions of the movie Rated R for violence and adult purchase, and then have PG-13 for the kids
I wish we had seen more of Anakin than him stomping around and lighting up his saber in front of kids. A couple Jedi kills would have been nice. That hologram is a split second and not exactly the best picture. I thought they had made Vader look like a bitch with that scene when I saw it in the theaters.
Anakin's fall to the dark side would have been a lot more impactful if more his Jedi kills and the assault on the Temple would have been done in more detail.
as much as i want to say "yes this would've been great to show the effectiveness of the clones eliminating their jedi commanders" im glad they weren't in the movie. this is because when i saw revenge of the sith i was a child so those deleted scenes probably wouldnt have been great a kid to watch.

I think the Anakin vs Drallig scene should’ve been kept to show exactly how powerful Anakin was. He used a cheap shot to disarm(Mace Windu)….show showing him cut thru the Jedi would’ve been good
Honestly, we should have seen more of Operation: Knightfall as it was going down. Not just the younglings allusion, but the whole damn siege. It would have made it an R rating but I think it would be worth it, especially now.
There is a comic involving quinoa vos and his survival, as well as the Legacy comic series revealing his presence in the new Jedi council when speaking with Cade Skywalker.
I think it should have. It would have shown more of what Siths are capable of and the evil and brutality that anakin committed in his dissent in darkness thus becoming Darth vader.
Con Dralig’s death was in scene in the hologram…but I did wish to see the whole scene there…Shaak Ti died twice in Ep.3…once in deleted scene where she wa stabbed in the back by Grievous…the 2nd was during Order 66 and she was in the Room of a Thousand Fountains and saw Vaders coming but did nothing…he struck her from behind with his blade as she meditated there
In legends Quinlan Vos survives Order 66 and fought his clone troopers in guerilla warfare. He used the beast trick ability to turn the predators of Kashyyk against the clones and ambushing their commander when he threatens to bomb the Wookies if Vos doesn't show himself.
Would have a been great to include them - also wish more Jedi had speaking lines too. I really wish they could have found Gin Clarke and had her reprise Adi Gallia with dialogue
To me this movie is the absolute best of all of them. My God how GL used things like light and shadow when Anakin was bringing to Yoda his worries and fears the way the light falls on that part and the incoming destruction seeing the storm outside. And then the battle on Mustafar what amazing sword work of the totality of duels Yoda and Palpatine Mace and Palpatime and Palpatine. The one with him killing the other guys before battling Mace. It shouldn't be thought of as lazy storytelling it SHOULD explain just how powerful Palpatine was. His reach so far. I also would love to see those outtakes restored.
tbh, I think it was okay that they cut some of these as I think Lucas who typically makes Star Wars for kids. Plus, while it would be interesting to see Anakin be a bit more brutal, he still wasn't a fully formed Darth Vader yet, and it would probably just be like, "Yeah, we get it, he's on the dark side now."
I'd like to see more Jedi Temple fight. Shaak Ti's death in the temple is now canon. In an unfinished scene, after killing her in her room, Vader walks away and we can see an intense and chaotic battle between the jedi and the clones.
I think that they should've kept the whole 4 hour cut and maybe change some things up but if the Order 66 part was longer and more violent, it would've made so much more impact. Now you only see some parts of it but if it had more scenes it would make Revenge of the Sith so much better, maybe even perfect. (ROTS is still a beautifull movie and probably one of/the best Star Wars movie)
In Legends Vos survives Order 66. I don't really keep up with Disney's canon (because I'm no fan of Disney Star Wars) but it seems like he survived there, too.
Hopefully, some of this is seen (or referenced) in The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and Rangers Of The New Republic. After seeing Chapter 6 of The Book Of Boba Fett, We're still left wondering WHO it was that saved Grogu, and took him from the temple. I have to admit: The theory that Anakin Skywalker saved him, is very intriguing.
Seeing Cin Drallig fight Anakin would have been sick, also it would show how good Obi and Anakin were at dueling if Anakin dispatches Cin (the leader of the temple guard and battle master) so easily.
I wish they'd had shown a lot more of the Jedi falling in the temple. Like it would've been much better to have seen Anakin and the 501st starting their attack. Maybe then we could finally have a clear answer as to how Master Shaak Ti died haha. I'm fine that they cut Quinlan Vos' death because I'm curious how his survival will tie into the Kenobi series. The same goes to Barriss Offee; I feel like the only path that would've allowed her to survive was if Sidious already had plans for her even before Order 66 happened. My theory and wish is that Barriss was eventually an integral part into the capture of her former Master Luminara Unduli. We know that she survived as well and was used as bait to lure any other surviving Jedi from the Rebels series. Lumainara happens to be one of my favorite Jedi so seeing Master Unduli's expression to seeing her former padawan serving the Sith would be amazing but heartbreaking.
Legends Rwpublic comic actually shows Quinlan Vos surviving order 66 and he even meets a young Han Solo in another comic. He also has a kid which he finds out about after surviving order 66. I wish some legends was canon. I’d rather this than speculation
I wish the scene where Anakin fights the master and his two padawans was left in. Perhaps not showing him sticking his saber through her neck but at least a glimpse of the fight itself.

I would like to see a mini series of the otiginal cut of revenge of the Sith so we can see the original vision. "The Gillard Cut." (Just like the Zack Snyder cut of the Justice League.)
What many people tend to forget or refuse to accept is that the Star Wars films were designed to be kids movies. So Episodes I - VI are full of silly humor moments and characters are kid friendly. So you can see, from this perspective, why graphic deaths would have been cut out by George Lucas. And it's one reason I hate the sequels because they forced the franchise out of being kids movies and they involved themes Lucas would have never touched on.
Yes..specially the Anakin ones....we heard that he was the one that exterminated all the jedi and when It finally comes the time to see it...we just see cuts of it and that he killed a bunch of kids..

Nah most of those deaths don’t make sense so it’s best they were cut. A tank “sneaking” up on bariss... sounds unlikely... vos getting blasted and not sending that... it’s already hard to believe cin drallig got dragged by anakin while fighting other Jedi... all of it doesn’t make sense... and anakin and obi wan were sent to rescue the chancellor.. weird that shaak to being captured was never mentioned.. but I guess that death of hers makes more sense then her getting stabbed in the back by anakin at the temple.
I agree but it makes sense that anakin would be able to kill many Jedi masters like sin drallig if we are to believe he personally killed many Jedi during order 66

I know this video was published a year ago, but I would have honestly liked to see these deaths occur, to feel more of the sorrow that the Jedi lost so many, this has been beautifully detailed I understand thar also when ROTS came out there were a lot of chores, myself being one of them, that would have been scared or traumatized, but I now seeing it as an adult feel it would have been acceptable. Or have 2 versions of the movie Rated R for violence and adult purchase, and then have PG-13 for the kids
I wish we had seen more of Anakin than him stomping around and lighting up his saber in front of kids. A couple Jedi kills would have been nice. That hologram is a split second and not exactly the best picture. I thought they had made Vader look like a bitch with that scene when I saw it in the theaters.
Anakin's fall to the dark side would have been a lot more impactful if more his Jedi kills and the assault on the Temple would have been done in more detail.

"Opening night" (midnight showing) actually saw the 'Shak-ti death' & 'fuel escape' scenes; IRRITATED when wasn't on DVD upon release

I think the Anakin vs Drallig scene should’ve been kept to show exactly how powerful Anakin was. He used a cheap shot to disarm(Mace Windu)….show showing him cut thru the Jedi would’ve been good
Honestly, we should have seen more of Operation: Knightfall as it was going down. Not just the younglings allusion, but the whole damn siege. It would have made it an R rating but I think it would be worth it, especially now.
There is a comic involving quinoa vos and his survival, as well as the Legacy comic series revealing his presence in the new Jedi council when speaking with Cade Skywalker.
A rated R version needs to be released. Have the invasion of the Jedi Temple longer.
I think it should have. It would have shown more of what Siths are capable of and the evil and brutality that anakin committed in his dissent in darkness thus becoming Darth vader.

Con Dralig’s death was in scene in the hologram…but I did wish to see the whole scene there…Shaak Ti died twice in Ep.3…once in deleted scene where she wa stabbed in the back by Grievous…the 2nd was during Order 66 and she was in the Room of a Thousand Fountains and saw Vaders coming but did nothing…he struck her from behind with his blade as she meditated there
In legends Quinlan Vos survives Order 66 and fought his clone troopers in guerilla warfare. He used the beast trick ability to turn the predators of Kashyyk against the clones and ambushing their commander when he threatens to bomb the Wookies if Vos doesn't show himself.
Wow. They cut out so much amazing scenes. I would love to have seen all these Jedi.

Ep. 3 was pretty dark already. Adding more gruesome scenes could have negatively impacted ratings.
To me this movie is the absolute best of all of them. My God how GL used things like light and shadow when Anakin was bringing to Yoda his worries and fears the way the light falls on that part and the incoming destruction seeing the storm outside. And then the battle on Mustafar what amazing sword work of the totality of duels Yoda and Palpatine Mace and Palpatime and Palpatine. The one with him killing the other guys before battling Mace. It shouldn't be thought of as lazy storytelling it SHOULD explain just how powerful Palpatine was. His reach so far.
I also would love to see those outtakes restored.
tbh, I think it was okay that they cut some of these as I think Lucas who typically makes Star Wars for kids. Plus, while it would be interesting to see Anakin be a bit more brutal, he still wasn't a fully formed Darth Vader yet, and it would probably just be like, "Yeah, we get it, he's on the dark side now."

Since I am a Sith fan, all of those order 66 scenes should have been kept, my favorite from order 66.
I'd like to see more Jedi Temple fight.
Shaak Ti's death in the temple is now canon. In an unfinished scene, after killing her in her room, Vader walks away and we can see an intense and chaotic battle between the jedi and the clones.
I think that they should've kept the whole 4 hour cut and maybe change some things up but if the Order 66 part was longer and more violent, it would've made so much more impact. Now you only see some parts of it but if it had more scenes it would make Revenge of the Sith so much better, maybe even perfect. (ROTS is still a beautifull movie and probably one of/the best Star Wars movie)

In Legends Vos survives Order 66. I don't really keep up with Disney's canon (because I'm no fan of Disney Star Wars) but it seems like he survived there, too.
Hopefully, some of this is seen (or referenced) in The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and Rangers Of The New Republic. After seeing Chapter 6 of The Book Of Boba Fett, We're still left wondering WHO it was that saved Grogu, and took him from the temple. I have to admit: The theory that Anakin Skywalker saved him, is very intriguing.

Seeing Cin Drallig fight Anakin would have been sick, also it would show how good Obi and Anakin were at dueling if Anakin dispatches Cin (the leader of the temple guard and battle master) so easily.
I wish they'd had shown a lot more of the Jedi falling in the temple. Like it would've been much better to have seen Anakin and the 501st starting their attack. Maybe then we could finally have a clear answer as to how Master Shaak Ti died haha. I'm fine that they cut Quinlan Vos' death because I'm curious how his survival will tie into the Kenobi series. The same goes to Barriss Offee; I feel like the only path that would've allowed her to survive was if Sidious already had plans for her even before Order 66 happened. My theory and wish is that Barriss was eventually an integral part into the capture of her former Master Luminara Unduli. We know that she survived as well and was used as bait to lure any other surviving Jedi from the Rebels series. Lumainara happens to be one of my favorite Jedi so seeing Master Unduli's expression to seeing her former padawan serving the Sith would be amazing but heartbreaking.

Order 66 could be an entire film on its own, all those scenes would make for fantastic veiwing.
Legends Rwpublic comic actually shows Quinlan Vos surviving order 66 and he even meets a young Han Solo in another comic. He also has a kid which he finds out about after surviving order 66. I wish some legends was canon. I’d rather this than speculation

What many people tend to forget or refuse to accept is that the Star Wars films were designed to be kids movies. So Episodes I - VI are full of silly humor moments and characters are kid friendly. So you can see, from this perspective, why graphic deaths would have been cut out by George Lucas. And it's one reason I hate the sequels because they forced the franchise out of being kids movies and they involved themes Lucas would have never touched on.
I want an Order 66 miniseries that where each episode shows a different Jedi. With the finale being inside the temple.
