Flake was not just thrown to the ground. In one of his books, he reports that they even threw him over the fence of the festival site (somewhere in Eastern Europe) together with boat and that he first had to find his way back to the entrance. The bouncers didn't want to let him back in because he didn't look like a member of a metal band.
😁😢 Poor Flake. In Berlin the Taxi driver did not believe that he was a band member and would not drive him to the entrance for band and crew 😁😢
Till: "I'm never getting in that boat!"
A moment later he sets himself on fire...
Flake was the only one to "surf" the crowd up until 2002 when Ollie took his place because Flaka kept getting injured 😊
I believe only Flaka and Ollie have surfed the crowd being just by themselves ❤
Edit: Richard surfed the crowd by himself in 2009, but it was pretty short, like under 2 minutes, I believe...
Edit #2: Flaka returned to "surfing" the crowd in 2009 during the performance of "Haifisch".
There is one missing... I think it was in 2022 World Stadion Tour, a child was lifted inside the boat (with help of Rammstein) and was wriding with the band members (and enjoyed it)
Yeah, at around 7:50, security pull down the fan, but Till yells at them to let him go and allows the fan to come on stage for a picture 📸
I heard Till was pretty pissed about the St Petersburg fan. The band members said when something went wrong at a show, Till would get pissed backstage

we all knew R+ fans are the best in the world, nice to see it proven, and I'm a happy fan as just seen some fan cam footage from rehearsals for the 30th anniversary tour this summer and looks like ''Keine Lust'' ,''Feuer frei'' , ''Wiener Blut'' and ''Ramm4'' might be on the new playlist set..we shall see come sat/sun
I've been keep ing an eye on those clips too. I'm in the Feuerzone at Dublin and I've never seen 'Wiener Blut' live. What a great song to see close up! 'Ramm4' would be great - 'Rammlied' was f***ing fantastic, a great opener, but I really don't mind the change. I'm just really looking forward to it with my oldest friend and someone that has never seen R+ before, it should make for a great night in Ireland!

love to be there as it's my home gig, sadly my health is going to stop me plus all the UK fans have snapped up all the tickets, lol. the RDS should be like a indoor concert and its compacked compare to large stadiums..enjoy, and dont forget some cam footage please ..cheers
In early years they obviously had the wrong boats: too small, too light.
After Flake was fed up with this, it was often Olli riding in the boat 🤗

Richard pulling up his pants after the saving... Lol. He was cute, no wonder he nearly got raped, what did he expect (I'm not "victim blaming", just saying, young, cute men can get raped, too). xD Flake said it was really bad (that time Till probably finds so funny), they tore his clothes off and he was injured. Recently, I saw some nice gestures, one took a fan with him, Till even pulled him onstage (security escorted him off again, not the one we see here, it was another guy), another one took a young child, 8 or 10, with him during the whole boat tour, Richard signed autographs, it was nice of them. When they were on the second stage during the piano version of "Engel", too, Christoph (I think) gave an autograph to one person, but had no pen and went to somebody else to get one, really sweet of him). In one concert in France, they all took the boat to go to the second, smaller stage, except Till, who was waiting with a "welcome" sign.
You need to watch the "In Amerika" docu (it's from the first time ever in the USA, when they just started to become famous), when they got arrested onstage (the cops just took one after the other offstage, at the end there was only Richard and Christoph I think, they didn't even realize what was going on). Till and Flake landed in jail (because of the simulation of a s*x act in "Bück Dich") for one night, and poor Flake was terrified, Till even makes fun of him after they were released, in some places, they were not allowed any pyro at all (and when the organizer asked the audience to choose, them playing without pyro or them just go home, some actually said they shouldn't play... They played anyway, people didn't buy tickets to watch fireworks), in Utah, they had to quit playing very early, 10 p.m. I think, people were really pissed (at Utah), and then, when they were in Brazil or another country in South America, where their presence caused such a chaos that the mayor of the town insisted they come out of the hotel and talk to the people to calm them down (it was unbelievable, there were so many people, they literally would have torn the hotel down, burnt cars and whatnot, and the mayor said it was all because of them). @@ReactionsbyD Yes that was Richard signing autographs, but not until 2019 and from what I've seen it's only been when all 5 minus Till have all surfed the crowd together ❤
