Yeah, as well. But maybe you'll find some comfort that many shows get rather or even pretty bad after (too) many seasons. While i don't actually think this would've been the case with the IT Crowd, i find peace in pretending to do so.
This has not only rekindled my love for the show, but made it stronger, the fact its all live makes it more pure and really goes to show how incredibly hilarious the show really is
I was just going to ask that question. His voice is close enough that I wondered if it might have been him. All through watching the series I was wondering if one of the actors was also the writer/producer. Somehow I just assumed Richmond was the real mastermind behind the series.
This guy 0:38 looks soooo mid 2000s as those lads do 0:54. 😃 And come on, don't be afraid, 6:17 I am German and aside from the "Gay! A Gay Musical" episode I've not laughed that much in an IT Crowd episode as in "Moss and the German". We are no Cello playing cannibals. 😄 Well, at least not all of us... 😁
I guess you’ve never been behind somebody who’s held up an iPad pro to hold record something. This is really well done is discusses a lot of what I have put together in my mind from the sidelines behind the tube.
Yeah, the show is actuality fairly IT lite with jokes just a casual computer user would understand. Probably because network protocols and system admin isn't that funny! I'm trying to think of the most "technical" jokes. Maybe the pop-ups/malware on Jen's computer or the bomb disposal robot running Vista.
@@ticketyboo2456 Big Bang was pretty good for the first few seasons until they all got gf's who seemed to whinge a lot and they were probably running out of ideas
The audience were certainly '" lapping " & clapping it up, I can quite see how this gained cult status this blows The Big Bang Theory out the window, never as good as The IT Crowd.
0:30 Oh God, I wish they would have played to an empty room instead. IT Crowd is good enough for me to tolerate "Filmed in front of a live audience", but it could have been so much better...
I don't know, I think having the live audience makes the actors take it up a notch and also gives the director instant feedback on what's funny. I don't think it would've been as good without the audience
It's so weird to see matthew berry nervous. His acting has convinced me that he's just like his characters in real life
And he's different yet again as a musician.
I can watch this show over and over! I'm not tired of it! All the Actors in show make my day interesting.
Agreed. If I havent see the show in like a month or two, it's great to rewatch the show again
Damn I miss IT Crowd so much
Just researched it a week ago.

6:05 So, it’s Graham that plays the sage in the desert that dispenses the Rohypnol to Douglas. Brilliant casting.

I think he also played Julie/Judy, the big lady that took a fancy on Roy.
"Moss and the German" is one of my fave episodes--thanks for this! :)
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
What's Wenger doing sending Walcott on that early?
The thing about Arsenal is they always try to walk it in....
They're 'aving a laugh
I saw it.....I turned it off and turned it on again.
@@breadbutter4231 But they're winning.
Darn. that audience is huge! I thought it was at most the third of that.
I watch this show over and over on Netflix!
One of the best series of all time.
So many wonderful moments from this show.
Moz, ‘rebooting’ having been knocked out 😂
The show creator is basically Roy and I’m living for it
Never gets old this show, love it 👍👍👍👍
All the characters are funny in show! I love " it crowd' soo much!
I didn't know it was to an audience lmao I'm an idiot.
Nor did I lol
me too
yeah it’s always refreshing to see a genuine audience laughing at good jokes instead of canned laughter
Still amazing in 2018
And it still is in 2019! ;)
@@MatteoMi and in 2020 :)

The best introduction with throw back early video game computer graphics 😊😂
This and Fawlty Towers are at the top of my list, "best things in life"

I didn't know it was filmed in front of a live audience ... I thought it was canned laughter.
Makes it even better, hm? 😊
"Like two people on pneumatic drills. But with less industry."
obviously you're a scriptwriter
Thanks for sharing this; I was sometimes wondering what it looked like out there :)
shoutout to that Belgian
Great upload. Great show. I wish it was still running.

Oh my God!!!!! I love them so much !!!! As IT Guy all of this is so accurate !!!!!!!!
We all know that Katherine Parkinson's legs were the true star of the show. Stellar!
He is a genius
wish they'd do a movie....
What? They did the God Father. What more do you want? LOL. The Fredo story was such a great send up. "Its not for you Jen."
Big fan of Father Ted too!
I never could get into Father Ted, I guess have understand Catholic faith get most of jokes...
somewhere, in Germany, there's a cafe, that has a dish, called CurryMoss...
Moss: "Oh, no, if its all the same to you, I'd rather not." The German: "Did is so disappointing!"
I'm on my third watch of this fantastic show and my face still hurts from laughing!
5:16 I didn't know James May had a son!?
Neil Clare lmaooooo
So it's not just me that thought that!
This is from moss and the German.

god I miss that show
Would have been nice being part of this show.
I found it delightful that most of the audience work in IT Departments or are studying for IT degrees 😊😂
Fantastic
He sounds just like Edgar Wright
luckily you dont need to be a geek or IT grunt to be a fan of the show
Nah you do, otherwise you'll watch the Big Bang Theory.
@@NesrocksGamingVideos I was huge fan of The IT Crowd and The Big Bang Theory, hope you can cope with that lol

Oh cmon now
Did anyone else notice Simon Pegg in back to the future's old make-up in the audience at 0:44
This looks like footage from the 90s wtf
Yeah, the whole show has a 90's feel to it. I think that was intentional
2019 anyone?
2020
what's wrong with you?
Covid?

Linehan looks like cheesed-up Alex James
I wonder why they stopped making the show? The writers could easily write more shows, if they were the real writers.
Graham Lindhan was the sole writer/director-- he basically ran out of ideas and wasn't interested in having the show to "fizzle out" without him.
Ryan Michael Upton I love the show but I'm happy they killed it before grinding it down.
It's probably a good thing. Father Ted ended on a high note after three seasons. Keep it fresh!
People were becoming more IT literate. Thus the jokes were slowly phasing out.
What, you mean, after stopping it you turn it back on again? Naa, when did that ever work?
Jeffrey Dahmer was of German descent
5:45 what gender is that ?

A great show even if all the folks behind the scenes are boring as paint.
Oceans 12 was better imo,not surprised he bottled it.
Still you made 24 episodes only! What a disappointment
The IT Crowd still hold up well even with limit numbers episodes. Like Faulty Towers
No masks
Aoyade and Dowd both have Jewish ancestry.
How?

Most folk in the world have Jewish ancestry if you go far enough back. And we're all descendents of black Africans.
I was in the audience for the role playing game episode. Omg
Thats classic jerry
