so For the entire 20th century, no one did anything to improve this system built in the 13th century? And then they gave them the BERKEY filter for the drinking water.. You know you will ave 6 months of drought every year, and you do not try to save, and store as much water as you can in the rainy season??? If it was good enough for you great, great, great ,great grandfather, why change.
Its great that their lives and livelihood are improving, it's just sad it took so long
