Mz Stacey..sorry about your loss , glad ur doing well but that foot looks alive...lol..thank you again for sharing this and will look forward watching the Norte. Glad Molly git a chance to witness the trials at the university. Though I live in Vancouver BC always want to experience that event.
So happy you have been able to embrace the blessings in your unexpected turn of events. One might say these are the ways of the Camino, learning lessons, and adapting. Buen Camino on your next effort 😊
So glad to hear from you! I had just checked yesterday to see if I’d missed a video. You have been occupied! I’m sorry to hear about your fractured metatarsal, and Molly’s grandfather. I’m happy that you are on the mend Stacey, and look forward to the Oregon videos. As I watched the Olympic trials on TV I thought about Molly, and how exciting it would be for her to attend!
Oh Stacey I am sorry about your father. He looked like kind and gentle man who clearly loved his family. I am sorry too about the norte and even more so about your foot. That was a heck of a recovery period and I hope you have made a full recovery. You and your family will be in my thoughts.
So glad to hear from you! I admit I was a little concerned. Y'all had a crazy summer, but I'm glad you can look at the bright side and see that there were some positives about being home. I am so sorry for your loss. I know those last months are precious times. I'm looking forward to your future adventures!
It is mostly pain free. The particular spot of the break is pain free, but I think I list a lot of muscle down there, so I am working to build that back.
Was Guetaria day five or six? I lost the count. Bayonne -- Guetaria = 80 km, divided by 5 = 16 km / day, kind of feasible _except_ if you have a foot problem. Which you did, obviously.
For the gramp who passed to his Creator in September: QDEP. For the metatarsal, breaking a metatarsal is _so fun_ isn't it? *Not.* I broke one in 2022.

Thank you. You are correct that I think the "ways of the Camino" have been helpful to us during this stretch. Buen Camino.

Yes, the trials were even more fun that we expected. We'll make a video about it.

Thank you. I am back to walking now and have started back running a bit. We are already mentally preparing for the Norte next year.

Thank you. Now, the wait to get back is feeling long, but we'll be back on the trail before we know it.
My heartfelt condolences :(
Thank you so much.
Glad you are both okay. Take care of yourselves. Look forward to your future videos
Thank you! Will do!
Glad you are going to make different videos! Hope the foot is pain free now!

from Irun to San Sebastian was my first camino experience and it was mindblowing :O
So good! That would be a great first Camino day. I wonder if we'll end up just caving and doing that day again, too.

It was day 5. The first three days were short and the next two were longer.
@@staceyandmollypilgrims Oh, that would obviously tend to aggravate a foot problem, if there was one.

I have had to be careful as I am getting back into shape to really take care of the foot. So far, so good.
@@staceyandmollypilgrims Best wishes!
