When Saitama is in front of Jupiter, it appears that the planet represents an aura of power around the hero, while Garou's aura is infinitely smaller. I believe it represents the difference in the power of the two.

The effects of that serious punch collision was unbelievable, wiped out several star systems in a blink of an eye like a hypernova explosion. If that serious table flip completely devastated Jupiter’s moon with just one hand, imagine what he can do with an actual “serious serious” table flip where he uses both hands. The past few chapters cemented OPM as my favorite manga hands down and I can’t even imagine what happens next with the few upcoming chapters during this fight. This is truly peak fiction.

For saitama breathing in space, and as for the question of his full cap, I think these are misleading, Saitama has broken any form of a limiter on himself, he hasn't pushed past his limits, he's removed any limit at all. Think about what this implies, think about all the wacky toon physics impossibility he's pulled off. What I think this all means is that Saitama is only limited by what he thinks he's limited to. Before, when he landed on the moon, remember, he didn't hold his breath THEN get kicked to the moon, he was kicked to the moon, then took a big gulp of air, despite that making no sense. He did that because he realized "oh crap, I'm in space, I need to breath" thus he held his breath because he thought "I need air" and this worked, despite having no air to breath, his cheeks visibly bulged despite there being nothing there to really hold on to, it worked BECAUSE HE THOUGHT IT WOULD. So much of what saitama does makes so much more sense in this context, How earth shattering attacks can't faze him but a cats claws can cut him, because in his mind, a cats claws are sharp, but in a fight, his project image of himself being so strong that no one can match him, attacks don't faze him. It also fully explains the immoral fly meme, saitama his faster than light and can crush planets between his fingers, but a fly survives? because he perceives it as annoying and difficult to kill, SO HE CAN'T KILL IT. Take this and think about the fight on Io, Saitama can breath and speak in space, not because of some power he has to survive in space, but because he's so pissed at Garou, that he isn't actively thinking about being in space, he doesn't care, he needs to fight garou, to talk to him and beat a lesson into him, who cares if its in space, this is what he needs, so that is what happens. So, in regards to this "max" level he's using here, this isn't actually his max, this is just a perception of his max, a level he thinks he's at, because he has no max, he has no limits, the only thing that limits him is himself, because he doesn't even fully comprehend what he is. If this turns out to be cannon, then it may very well be that saitama's "can kill anyone" meme is valid, as all he really needs to have a proper perception of his abilities or simply bee too mad to care. True form darkside? He could totally one punch that, he just needs to punch tyranny, totally plausible here

is just nothing and its scarier than actually having a move.

You know where the fight is going. Saitama is not evading any attack, Garou is. Saitama just tanks whatever is thrown at him and continues to attack. Garou at this point has no new ideas, except to do more of the same until it works. This is the main difference between the two, Garou is defined by what he sees, Saitama defines himself. He has no such limits.

As mentioned in anime, Saitamas hard training living without ac and etc is for adapting every environment,& that goes to far,I think Saitama can adapt every environment,and as Garou mentioned his internal organs are also something different and powerful,I think he adapt with out oxygen environment

Also when he landed his serious punch for the first time he was on earth and he would have never thought that he would go to space, so he had no reason to inhale a lot of oxygen. @@monsesh1316 That’s a shame as I prefer the webcomic version of the Saitama vs Garou fight as it focused on Garou, with Saitama essentially doing a character analysis of him, and not shoehorn in God into the equation. I also don’t like how ONE and Murata are really forcing God into the story as I think him being slowly and subtly built up in the webcomic was better storytelling wise.

After all these years we finally got it. The serious table flip in the manga was better than we could ever expect. The fight against Garou being at a larger scale than Boros is now all too clear.
Also we expected mars, but turns out it's even better. I was confused by the chapter's name at first, because I'd never expect that they will fight on one of Jupiter's moons.
I can't believe that we see Saitama in a full serious mode. I thought it'll never gonna happen. At this point I am starting to be afraid, because this legitimately feel like the end of the series. They took this arc to a whole other level. Can't imagine what's gonna happen next or even how this all will end.

I saw a theory that I think was a great idea if it happens in the next chapters, because Garou is powered by god and his body is full of galaxies and planets. Garou isn't surviving any of the punches but is the punches are getting directed to those planets in his body.

Albeit it’s pretty minuscule and breathing it in would combine with the fluid in your lungs and create sulfuric acid making it not only hard but toxic to breathe but yeah, a human can breathe on Io, one of the 79 moons of jupiter, though a normal human would die probably within a minute or two, saitama ain’t exactly normal
also the temperature/weather conditions on Io are insane, even if breathing wasn’t a risk, just existing there would be

It seems like Saitama’s “full power” dialogue was moreso just commentary that he can finally get serious against an opponent without having to worry about collateral damage. It would make sense that if Saitama is limitlessly strong and can literally break the laws of physics, then he is likely stronger than the universe itself, meaning if he wanted to, his true “full power” could probably destroy the universe.

The hand that defies God may be the one the others gods are looking for and it may be the very same one that may have made saitamas its host but without ever controlling him in any way which would explain why he has such limitless physical prowess that he thought he achieved with 3yrs of doing average people workouts.
I like that theory of yours, its very possible. Also, i like to point out that energy cannot be created nor be destroyed. that means if saitama is just channeling energy from a limitless source, then he cannot be destroyed. Maybe thats why he is so durable.

Imagine if this was animated, imagine the soundtrack. This man is using only his muscular strength without any supposed "ki" or internal energy. Thats my opinion, but i think what is keeping Garou alive is probably this divine power that defies the universe, more like sustaining all his atoms together. It seems that he has endless supply of it, but it will eventually reach a breaking point which should be impossible literally.

Really hope saitama is holding back. Maybe this is cope, but i want saitama to retain the title of one punch man. Maybe further in the story it will be revealed that if saitama wanted to take gorou down in one punch he could. If not, saitama seems a little weaker than previously thought.

I think the symbolism of Saitama standing on the mountain with Jupiter behind him is supposed to be analogous to the difference in divine power given to the two. In comparison to Saitama, Garou is equivalent in scale between Jupiter and its fourth largest moon.

I don’t trust anything the characters truly say about Saitama’s power even Saitama until there is 100% confirmation from either ONE, Murata or way later down the line.
I’ll wait a few more chapters for this fight to finish to see if it was indeed Saitama going full power or not.

Also also, the symbolism with Jupiter is amazing. Remember that Jupiter is the Father of the Gods in Roman mythology. The way I see it, having Saitama standing in front of God Garou with the imagery of the planet named after the King of the Gods is just amazing

I'd like to see Saitama using Boros' saying about emitting energy from his body to propel and elevate power into a move. Saitama could jump between the rocks like he did after serious table flip or jump around Garou on the ground but the afterglow of his movements spell out the name of his next punch..

It could be equally as valid to interpret it as "Saitama not wanting to lose the core. The thing that reminds him of his lost friend genos." 8:50 Saitama doesn't seem to hold hope or have knowledge that the doctor can fix genos. More than likely he's either died or the doctor will surprise both Saitama and everyone. That or the one guy who controls millions of robots will help out here. And then we'll get to see more on that character.
Just like Tareo to Garou, it's the only one thing that holds his humanity. For Saitama's case it's the core, the only human emotion he has left, he hold dearly to it the entire beatdown.
