The arabs of gaza were issued 20,000 entry permits and whenever there was a daytime rocket attack 'everyone' ran into the bomb shelters, Jews and arabs sheltering from hamas rockets, waiting for the all clear. Jews and arabs together, what did they talk about? why were 20,000 work permits issued to hamas terrorists, an enemy that wanted to kill all the Jews? After the attack everyone went back to work as if nothing had happened. October 7th changed everything.

I don’t know if they intentionally removed her son’s eye, but this may speak to one they label as Al-Masih ad-Dajjal (deceitful messiah). Brandishing a child for life, a child who had been willing to sacrifice himself in the place of his brother, which in itself is Messianic, perhaps to cast future doubt on his offer, to further the conflict. It really is too much for anyone of any age to live through. I only hope to share insight over details I have learnt during this conflict from hearing others speak. I am not making any assumptions politically or religiously, and am certainly not attempting to justify anyone’s actions in the ongoing war.
