fanatec has a great array of products they look really well built and really clean design and i love that aspect although the price is quite high (but it feels fair since you're paying for an high end product) but i'm okay with that, i'm gonna buy a bunch of stuff on my birthday from fanatec to finally complete my rig build, so excited!
OMG You are a life saver. I found this wheel go up for sale on one of my local selling and buying apps for 150, I was able to talk down the price to 100. I've never owned a f1 wheel before so I am so excited! Thank you so much for the review video
@@Aaron458f Just out of the box bro. It's a great wheel for a decent price from the clubsport series (higher tier) so it is very high quality with lots buttons, great shifters and a very nice feel when driving. I would recommend it any day :)
@@masons_wrld no it wont because this is the PS4/PC edition, you will need the X-Box/PC edition ;) I think the powerlight is different also (this is Blue for PS4/ Red for PC the other is Green for Xbox /Red for PC)
I swapped the paddles either side and got the magnetic solution from AMStudio ! Near enough to perfect now ;) I didnt like having the paddles like you have them up high so swapping sides leaves them at the same place just closer ;)

Sold my Logitech G29 last week and immediately purchased the Csl elite base, wheel and pedal bundle along with the Formula Carbon wheel. Neadless to say it's a huge upgrade and i'm loving every minute of it.
The paddle shifters were the reason I kept my McLaren Rim instead of the Formula Carbon. The paddle shifters on the McLaren Rim are amazing. Also, I prefer the 30cm rim size.
Yeah, but we can't buy it right now, if ever again. No word whether it's even coming back. That's the wheel I really want, but I'm running out of patience.

how is the FFB? Im looking for solid ffb with really smooth feeling, im used to the DFGt with the colunky grinding type of feel. I just want it to feel smooth, good ffb and solid weight when around corners
Have a whole kit on the fanatec website with gear shifter/pedals/E-brake/ load cell brake, and the F1 ps4 bundle in my cart... just waiting on Sony to confirm if it will be usable on PS5. Would be very frustrating if I spent close to $1500 (including shipping and tax & conversion to USD) only to have sony not support it ( I.e specific hardware limitations meaning you need to buy PS5 branded products to work with it. Hope not tho but waiting until that announcement comes through

You can do it with fanalab software. It will allow you to create a profile for the game itself then assign the thing you want to be displayed on the rim screen such as speed, gear change, gear engaged and lot more.
there is no click in the shifters because they didn‘t want to have a click there. why is this bad? i guess you can tell from the game if u shifted or not bruh

Good video. But, I have the Fanatec F1 steeringwheel myself and in +500houres of using it I never had 1 wrong shift.

the different geometry increases confort and grip levels. smaller wheels are also faster to rotate.

Haven't been able to do that. It works as a pov, not as a hat switch.

It's always great to have feedback in the shifters. It's basically their only wheel that does this.
