NPS information videos should be frequent as it is the largest retirement scheme. Information regarding the same will be very beneficial to the viewers.
Here you must congratulate me that after following you more than 5 years my every decision matches with you.... Once again I had the same choice.... Thanks for teaching us without any vested intrest.
I have already invested in NPS this month. Before watching this video😅. And I am glad that this video is very much positive 😅. I am 22year old. I have invested in both NPS Tier-1 and Tier-2 with a small amount of 500 but I believe in long term. I know that I am the change maker of my family, and the generational curse breaker of my family. See guys, investors, traders or established people will always tell you to invest 10k or 1L , they literally go with the ideal theory. But I must say that invest as per your capacity. Today you'll invest in one with a small amount that's okay. But if you go with the big minds then you'll never start. Don't compare your step 1 to someone's step 10. Start with small amount in one catagory then by the course of your time you'll be able to invest in multiple sources. But start with a stable one with a small amount as per your capacity. Don't try to be perfectionist at the beginning.
That is not the problem with NPS. The biggest problem with NPS is you cannot have option to withdraw 100% of your money EVEN AFTER YOU REACH 60 years. This is the main reason why NPS is ignored.
Do you even know the meaning of the word 'Pension' brother? The whole purpose of NPS is to provide a stable and monthly source of income so that you could spend all those years. If you want a big lumpsum why would even look for pension schemes? Simply go for SIPs.
NPS Tier 1 makes a very solid retirement product as you have already mentioned. But what does Finology think about making our Large Cap SIP into NPS Tier 2 keeping it in active mode with 75% allocated to equity till the maximum age we can keep 75%. Now as and when we want to pull out money, we can pull out money from NPS Tier 2 and pay the normal capital gains tax but the real benefit being the following two reasons, first NPS Tier 2 is cheaper than Large Cap funds and second whatever money we dont use, we can push it to NPS Tier 1 before we hit 60 years age, and 60% of the entire corpus in NPS Tier 1 is tax free. That way we can pay less tax on our Large Cap SIPs which is already cheaper than normal Mutual Fund Large Caps. I hope that you answer this question in the QnA session of the NPS Guide as you had QnA sessions for the rest of the mutual fund videos.
Sir, please discuss the major demerit of NPS which is the compulsory annuity plans to be opted which has returns less than the FDs. In future the return on annuity will be even lesser. So NPS with compulsion of 40% in annuity is better than mutual funds??
It's better than FD considering 60% corpus is tax free on maturity. FD has risk of reinvestment meaning after maturity of FD [max 10 years] you have no choice but to accept prevailing rates
Can you please discuss annuity part in detail. It doesnt seem like a good option as i wont be getting any return on that 40 percent corpus to even beat inflation. Seems like 40 percent of my money is gonna depreciate post retirement. Arent i better off doing SIP in an index fund with same amount of money. Its seems like NPS is good for majority as majority dont stay invested in mutual fund for more than 3 years, but for financially literate people, is NPS really worth it?
Pranjal, I have one very basic question on NPS. Help me understand the below thing: Let's say I invest all my savings in NPS Tier 2 account. Once I have sizable investment and I know that I do not need that much liquidity till my retirement, then I move my money to Tier 1 account. Withdraw 60% of corpus from NPS tax free and 40% for annuity. Is this not a hack to save any LTCG tax or am I missing something? Question: 1. Is there any limit in investment on Tier 2 2. Is there any limit in transfer from Tier 1 to Tier 2. If above question answers NO, then it will be helpful to create 1 video on this topic. I searched Internet and Google, but could not find any answer.
Pranjal bhai .. ending koi nai btata. If, I will die after taking 5 or 10 yrs of annuity pension then what will happen of my left money? If my wife will receive, then what will happen if she will also die after few years?
Do there are type of nps pension you select A if you select annuity you will get 8.5 percent intrest and after you die no principal is returned B another is you get 7.5 percent on annuity but after you die principal goes to your wife C another is you get 7.5 percent on annuity but after you die YOUR wife will get 7.5 percent annuity and after she dies principal goes to your surviving chilldren
Hello Sir, I have few queries. Suppose I have amount x, which is equal to a+b+c+d =x, where a = large & mid cap b = elss c = flexi cap d = gold etf My query is how the compounding will work if I divide the amount in all four schemes. I will get better compounding if I invest in a single scheme or dividing the amount will not effect the compounding? Secondly: the NAV of mutual funds rises if multiple investors invest in a single mutual fund or it also depends upon market rise and fall. Mean to say, suppose market is performing well but all of sudden there is some bad news in the MF and everyone starts withdraw, will the NAV remains same according to market or will it depend upon people action? I will be really thankful if you answer my queries. I think this will be a common question for most people Best Regards 😊
@biswajitkalita7816 that is lower end of returns at 7.8% at 12% it will cross 2 crore which would be equal to 45lakh of today's money taking 6% inflation which is not at all bad.
NPS may be good for private employees. But being a govt employee I will opt for Old pension scheme. There are 100s of loop holes and doubts in NPS which is not good for commom people.
Annuity plan will never beat FD. They are different instruments for different purpose. Annuity guarantees a fixed rate of return for life. FD rate will change after some time. I am not saying Annuity is better, they are just different.

If both Husband and wife die before 60, and there are children below 18, will there be any pension for children ? 4. If corpus at maturity is 1Cr and he/she takes100% pension, and the personer lives 100 years will he\she get the same monthly pension for 40 years or will there be any variation over time? 5. Sir the information you are providing is available in every NPS video. However no one shows the process to withdraw amount once you attain age of 60. What is the process, how to get the money after age of 60??
NPS is as good as index fund if someone is choosing active choice option.....even you get a 60% tax free return....but the pathetic thing is 40 % of corpus to be mandatorily invested in buying annuity...which will give hardly 4_5% as a monthly pension...And more shocking part is you have to alive atleast minimum 16.5 years after 60 years , to get the full 40% corpus with this rate ....😊😢😢...so invest wisely and invest small portion of money at regular intervals in such a way that total fetched amount shouldn't cross 5 L. Then you can withdraw full corpus ....
Thank you sir, what is the fate of 40% of the corpus after the death of pensioner? If spouse or nominee will get the 40% in lump sum form? Please give your opinion ?
Sir Jo government sector ke logo ka paisa nps tier 1 ma jata hai like SBI uti and lic iske alawa aur kaun sa option hai kisi aur fund house ko choose karne ka jisse equity me thoda jada exposure ho aur decent return ban sake for tier 1
U can choose LC 25 or LC50 Scheme where 25 or 50% money will be invested in equity market ... It's proportion will reduce with age and shift to govt security...but for the early career it will give a good exposure as well as early growth momentum for long run... U can change ur scheme twice in a year and the fund manager once in a year
the only problem with NPS is government. Who knows what new idea they may come up with in future and modify the scheme for their benefits!?
For example. UPS
It’s with every investment. Gov can do anything 😅
Example SGB
Exactly
Correct

This is why it us called Pension fund not investment fund.
It’s a pension fund
It generates pension from the remaining 40%
If you need 100% simply invest in any mutual fund or nps tier 2

She will get leftover money in lumpsum way...thereafter if she dies then that money should go to her nominee if she nominates anyone... simple
Do there are type of nps pension you select
A if you select annuity you will get 8.5 percent intrest and after you die no principal is returned

NAV of a Mutual Fund depends upon the underlying stocks/market. It is not affected if lot of investors buy or sell the MF at the same time.

Worked with a nationalised bank for 6 years as an officer, 10-12 lakh balance phans gaya hai NPS hai, ab 30 saal rukna padega 😂😢
At the time of retirement it would be close to 1 crore.
More than 1 Cr...
1 Cr will be nothing after 30 years
