You were confused because you're among the many who think they released the docu-series for sympathy after the smear campaign against them. Do you really believe a docu-series could be produced in just a month? All the clips in the docu were shot back in 2023 before the vile hate train. Labels typically have schedules and plans for the year ahead, which are submitted to shareholders, so everything is already set which date, unless, issues and cancellations happen for various reasons and there is no fckng reason for sourcemusic to not release it since the comeback would be on August. It's just that everyone is so focused on criticizing them that every move they make is being attacked, which is truly insane.
I was wondering when you were going to react to this and boy I wasn't disappointed by it! Looking forward to your thoughts during episode 3, especially during one scene with Sakura. Because of that scene, K-netizens are going at her again, telling her to leave the industry.
they did roughly in one stage vocal wise doesn't mean they all need more lessons, in festival environment shouting the lyrics is a staple, u can try it the regular way but with heavy dancing while singing it's projecting that'll get your voice out, becuz otherwise u will barely be heard and your voice will shake. But i can also say if u look up the fancams of the event, they literally did NOT sound as bad as the live of Coachella made it sound, also people are only taking into account like 2 clips out of the majority of the performance as well
This doc has been in the works for 1.5 years plus the had released a doc for Fearless era, plus they had to release this before the crazy comeback idk why hater should stop a release of something that has been in the work and the doc doesn’t even cover Coachella it stops at the perfect night era
Idk if you know but I'm 99% sure that none of the girls were getting the correct training for vocals during izone so there voices were damaged from having to sing so high. Jo yuri also had her voice messed with due to the lack of training. And as we know japan doesn't focus on vocals and more fan service. Last thing is her voice whilst singing legit sounds the same as her voice speaking like she has a shaky voice in general
Just a minor correction but for Japan, it depends on the idol group. Yes, there's groups like AKB48 where they don't focus on vocals but more on fanservice(of course, they have had good singers in the group before) but not every group is like that. Groups from the LDH agency for example are known for their vocals like SM.
Izone members never got training for vocals. They were just told to sing higher for their songs. And well the training in idk how much that was. But, kkura real training for vocal/korean and basically the Kpop trainee regiment for the first time joining hybe/source. Chaewon had a short trainee period of I think 7 months before going into produce. And yunjin is the one w the must trainee experience at of the girls. 4 years and some months. But as we saw in the documentary of the world is my oyster both yunjin/chaewon went through it again because source/bang pd figured out the concept and how it was going to be performance/dance heavy. So what we are hearing is kkura’s learnin how to sing proper and with that it’s going to go through cracks and what not. Like the other comment said akb48 doesn’t give lessons in vocal or dance. You the idol would have to pay out of ur own pocket for those and find a way to fit it in ur already busy schedule. From what I understand kkura did pay for dance lessons. Idk how many she did because she had to go between hkt48 - akb48. To me I don’t care about idols being perfect at debut or having the best vocals. I care that they’re trying their best , having fun being idols, etc. I think maybe akb48 has started giving at least dance lessons but idk if it’s true or not. After the fact hitomi/nako/kkura came back after izone. I know hitomi shaped the group section she was in akb48 to be more like Kpop clean provice and synchronized dances. Ergo, idc if ur popular gg/bg or nugu. I respect all idols because they go through a lot. I hope sorce keeps doing these documentaries to show how it’s like in the industry. Also, a good way for the members to look back on what they’ve overcame as a group but as themselves. And also for the fans. Sorry for yapping.
@@parawolfwolfsbane9524exactly this!!! people never think of how hard they work just to release one song and people hate them for not doing perfectly in one stage
Tbh sakura did improve but lesserafims range is still too low for almost all of them and yes she might not be the best vocalist but she has come a long way and u can easily spot the improvements if u check her solo singing videos during izone era and after izone era But hybe DOES give them vocal training idk where that rumor came from cuz all idols recieve both vocals and dance lessons But also sakura has been one of the most improved idols even so Plus she has the idol quality Being an idol doesn't mean she should have top tier vocals Its all about enjoying the stage and having stage presence which she does i wish people could see and understand how hard every idol has to work and yall just bully them and hate on them like why do people have to act likw vocal coaches and mentors
I agree on ur assessment on idols because that’s what I believe an idol is. It’s not just solely on singing. It’s a combination of dancing/charisma/ singing/ fan service/ performance/ etc . I don’t mind if an idol is not good at either one of them. I care about them enjoying themselves and seeing the improvements as they grow.
@@parawolfwolfsbane9524exactly and these days it has become a trend for fans to hate on an idol just because theyre not as good of a singer as some main vocals of 2nd and 3rd gen or if theyre overdancing (which they do cuz theyre enjoying it)
Honestly I don't get this fixation 4th & 5th gen fans have with all rounders. Idols don't need to be the best vocalist-dancers-performer-models at same time, that it's why positions used to be a thing. If you have that expectation on them they're will break because no one is perfect Kkura improve A LOT in the last 4 years in all aspects that's why i find cruel comments like the one you said "that it's odd she is an idol" just because a couple of bad days with her singing, not her dancing or stage presence, just her singing No matter your profession there will always be something to improve and that doesn't guarantee you'll become the best at your field, changes even small ones are still a step foward so please people be kinder to yourself and to ALL IDOLS ❤
@palabrasenllamas1877 fully agree!!! But I don't need her to be all rounder, not at all. I don't think idols should be all rounders. I'm watching produce 48 and she wasn't great there either, and I feel like she hasn't improved. But I also think during her from between izone and lese she would've put work on her vocals since she was always critized for it. She is a good dancer, but hybe doesn't train vocals very well tbh. Even other groups have members that have to put their own time to get lessons. I just wish they'd have le sserafim work more on that cause they're already all great dancers. But I saw clips where it looks like they're gonna get lessons in this documentary so hopefully they're better for their comeback!

lets be honest tho, if i was an idol and i got hate like tht id start hating to perform and getting scared of even entering a stage
theyre humans too

I do like people who are viewing sakura state in constructive criticism but most people do not have that 'cause they just hating her here and there.
