- Hey everyone, here are lots of the voice line interactions I found while playing the new tank Mauga yesterday! Includes interactions with Baptiste, Widowmaker, Talon, Lifeweaver, etc. Like and sub for more, thanks! :)

@plutonash2545 . Not all. For example, as far as I'm aware Reinhardt's VA is an American despite the character being German and he barely has any voice lines in the German language anyway. That being said, they definitely are trying to give new characters a VA from their country of origin.

Actually, they've done that for awhile. Rein is German even tho he doesn't speak German, but Mercy speaks Swiss-German to compensate. Same with Reaper being Hispanic but not speaking Spanish and Sombra speaking Spanish instead, and the same with Pharah being Egyptian but not speaking Arabic, as they have Ana for that. They actually get voice-actors who know the character's language fluently when the character speaks it often, they never skimp on that and I love it. @@highlander8402
With that “you’re welcome” line, he might as well be voiced by the Rock! 😂
Can't believe they actually added that line in, considering Disney's harsh copyright rules on their property.
@@HPMCCPooTisClaiming copyright on "You're welcome" would be the stupidest thing Disney could ever do since EVERY Hero has a "You're welcome" voice line when they reply to a teammate's "Thank you" 😂

they've successfully created copyright on the word "Hakuna Matata" and tried to trademark the entire concept of Dias De Los Muertos in the leadup to Coco. Copyright as a concept was created to protect Mickey Mouse

This guy has the energy that Overwatch had been missing for a while. He singlehandedly brought some goodwill back into the franchise with his charisma.
The man issue I still have is Acti-Bliz.
I haven't played overwatch since like a day or two illari came out but I hopped back on to try out mauga and had fun

@@Fuckyoutubefordeleteingmymain tanks are either unable to, or inefficient at dealing with airborne units, I won’t go super in depth but because of Maugas kit, mainly his hitscan guns having a longer distance than say Dva he can actually pressure flyers without abandoning his team like dva has to. And unlike wrecking ball who has somewhat similar guns, he can afford to shoot at them since his kit revolves around the use of his guns instead of usage of ball form to bonk ppl

Only sort of. He's only okay vs pharah, although that's still way better than the second-best option
That "MOVE" with the melee is one of my favorite voicelines, it feels so personal.

Lifeweaver and him have a lot of unique voicelines with each other. If LW elims him sometimes he says "I have to make it up to you sometime" VERY sultry!!

Yes, I’ve actually heard this when playing Doomfist.
So essentially, i think Talon is under Doomfist’s control.
"You're welcome!" got me thinking of Maui from Moana. we now need an AI cover of him singing that
Ashe also has a elim line for him where she says something like "Hah, two hearts and no brains"
I love playing no limits and just hearing that spammed everywhere
I love the voiceline of " It's Mauga Time"
Is Lifeweaver part of Mauga's lore? It seems like he has a lot of Lifeweaver-specific voice lines
Overwatch is sort of using lifeweaver flirting voice lines to imply who might be fruity (had a line asking Bap out on a date before Bap was announced as bi) so I imagine they’re doing that with him (though no need since he and Bap were pretty much confirmed lovers)

@@spartancrap9710 i dont have the source for this on hand so feel free to disregard this but someone on the ovw writing team did say that mauga and baptiste having "ex boyfriend energy" was intentional. that dosen't confirm that they were in fact boyfriends but i would say that's close enough. im sure you could find it if you googled it

There is a pretty good interaction when he has reaper in his ult, he saya " You can't escape death remember?"
When hog kills him he says wanna try Samoa and proceeds to chuckle at his own joke
He says "You're Welcome", mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned.
I really really like Mauga. I know they changed his design to be out of the suit to show his tattoos off but I find it both amazing and weird

You know, they could give Mauga one of the Mask's ( the old movie with Jim Carrey ) lines " Somebody stop me. " when Mauga gets powered up from Anna's ulti. :) Feel free to tell me your opinions. :) Plus it would be a very good little easter egg and reference to the Mask movies.

They literally added a bunch of voicelines for the map that is no longer in the official map pool. That's neet
