Hey Will, not sure if this is right place but there is something I gotta share. I used to play soccer before covid at a field nearby where people wud just drop in and play. At first I enjoyed it but I realized I was ... not the best player there. Probably like ariund the lowest in terms of skill because I was kinda new and still learning the game at that time. However soon enough people figured out how bad I was and stopped passing me the ball all together and would 'use' me to perform tricks like stepovers, nutmegs etc. Everytime I do manage to secure the ball they would yell at me to pass them and keep making me play defense. It was humiliating but I kept going for a few weeks and then gave up when I couldnt anymore. They were playing "casually" (atleast thats what I was told) but it felt super competitive. Never played a game ever since but I still have a soccer ball and practice with it every now and then. Maybe im better now but idk if I want to go out into a game and find out. My sports confidence has taken a huge hit. Any thoughts?
Training with the ball helps, but won't get better until you get back out there. Might take you a bit of time - but you'll see improvements pretty quick bud. Good luck.
@@ajabroni I worked out for a few weeks and had been practicing with a ball. These videos really did improve my touches, recieving and passing. Went back to the field for pickup games and actually scored a goal and dribbled past defenders. Guess I answered myself lol

I was in a similar position a few years ago, I still play with people who are a lot better than me, I actually find that it helps me to keep improving as a player by challenging myself, but i have seen massive improvements in my game. Please keep playing and practicing, you got this!
@@mattgrant5507 update: yes. I still kept playing and seen major improvements. Turns out 1v1s both att and def are my best skill thanks to my speed but still working on off ball movement and finishing.

I got diadoras for Christmas. The Brasil K-leathers specifically. The pair is pretty worn out after only a couple of months of play. Maybe it was due to the harsh New England weather or i play to rough, either way i wouldnt recommend if I'm going to be real with you.

They're still in the same box and wrapping they came with from his management team. I haven't used them bc i'm a size 9 and they're 9&1/2 so they dont fit me. Anyway, I need to buy a new pair of boots that can actually fit me this season and some gear and I've been coming to terms about selling them. I honestly don't know how much they would be worth since he signed for Barcelona and that type of stuff. I came here to ask if you or anyone you knew would be interested in buying the boots or if you'd be willing to put them up on an ig story or something so more people can see it.
