Best video I have found that I needed. My cart is a late nineties Club Car DS and looks pretty much like yours. Only difference is that I ordered an Enjoybot 36 volt LiPO4 100 AH Battery instead of the three twelve volt batteries. Hope I didn't mess up because a Golf Cart Repair Shop said I would not have the amps to move my cart. Hope this is incorrect.

Thank you for watching and the compliment on the video. I suspect you will be fine with the one battery, I was thinking about getting the same you purchased, I was just not sure it would fit. This is the reason I chose to go with 3 vs a single battery. That and I think the price was about $300 less the go the route I did. Thanks again for watching. Let me know how your install goes.

Running the 3 individual batteries in series is 36v 100ah's. It's exactly the same battery you have. Yours is just in one case, rather than 3. All the battery cells are the same.

@@BackatTheRanchSTX Hi. I had to put my project on hold for awhile but I got the Enjoybot 36 volt Lithium Battery istalled in the 97 Club Car DS Resistor Cart. I still need to do a little wiring but nothing major. It was a tight fit but just needed a little funnigle-ing to get it in. I disconnected my resistor coil pack and installed it in the front left battery compartment which I saw explained on You Tube. I put a metal strap across the frame rails by the motor (mounted underneath them) and bolted 1x6 Treated Boards from the center Battery tray towards the motor. As I knew it would be, It was a tight fit and had to lay it up semi sideways and work it up and in while straightening it out. I have pics if anyone wants them. Hope it works good on the cart.

Yeah I am very happy with my PUPVWMHB battery, the 1 I got did not have the Bluetooth BMS and getting about 120 amps out of the 100 ah battery! I did also get the Bluetooth BMS as provides lots of battery info, but seams like the cells are about 105 ah... I think you will like them!!!

@@whatmattersmost6725 thank you for watching and commenting. I am doing a 1 year update on my golf cart and how the batteries are holding up in next few weeks. Will also show how I have my solar power system rigged up to it. If you would like to watch that, don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the update.
The blue tooth option is a nice standard upgrade.

Just the video i was looking for. I have the same cart and wanted to replace the batteries with lifepo4s when they go but didn't know how they would do in a resistor car and the bms shutting down from the amp draw.

THANK YOU Antonio! Just the video I was looking for. I have a 1991 club car DS and am actively looking to upgrade to lithium. Any issues with inline charging? Are all 3 batteries charging evenly?
    Thank you!

I have a few other videos where I provide updates. But some update in the middle of vlogs. If you watch my last vlog where Pablo find a 6 pointer I briefly talk about it after driving it around for 4 hours and having all my lights on for over 3 hours. Thx again

2001 Club Car DS, 7yrs old lead batts 48V. I run on flat paved roads with an occasional arched bridge. It slowing on the ramp up of the bridges.
Four 12V jobs should do fine. Thanks for sharing. What brand?

If you have a coil system, it is pretty typical for them to struggle uphill. Mine is a coil 36v and definitely struggles up hills. Fortunately for me, not many hills in South Texas. As for brand of batteries, I simply purchased the cheapest I could find on Amazon. I am pretty sure any brand will get the job done, concerning these cheap ones work.

Great Video, 1st one I've seen where anyone swapped to Lifep04 in that old of a cart.. I have a 1990 DS and hope to do same in the near future. Have you had any issue with the Battery BMS cutting off? I have the same sweep speed control and Resistor

I don’t recall the brand but the model is PUPVWMHB. This was the cheapest battery on Amazon at the time. Thanks for the question.
