- Sharing you behind the scenes during the time one of our videos blew up on Tiktok. It was definitely an answered prayer! We’re so blessed that our quick 6sec video reached so many people in the healthcare field. It was a crazy experience and also a lot of fun even though we were just operating on coffee and at least 3 hours of sleep everyday. Lol We definitely learned so much from it and now we have a system in place that very much works for us and so glad we get to experienced this.
We started our business July of last year and there were days of being so unmotivated because of little to no sales in a month. Until this happened to us and honestly I didn’t believe that one thing can happen to your small business that could change it overnight. I hope this video will inspire other new small businesses who feel like giving up now. We showed up every time even during the times we feel defeated so I think one of the best things I’ve learned is that consistency, dedication and hard work really pays off. Just hang in there. -MM 💕

What made you decide to dedicate a whole room to your business when you were only getting 1-2 orders a week? How long were you doing this before you went viral? Did you make the design or buy a royalty free design? Sorry so many questions. I love what y'all are doing!!
It was a “family room” before and we had tv and whole living room set up but we find that we never really use that space so much because we usually hang out at our downstairs living room anyway. We also make stickers and few other times we get an order for custom group apparel, so when we’re doing those,it can quickly mess up the whole place with clutter so we decided to put the room to a better use and that’s where we also keep our heat press and all other office supplies.
We started on July 2022 and we do our own designs on ipad. 😊

We just googled warehouse apparel near me. Once we drove down the location, we found out that area is mainly for small business supplies, printing company, apparel wholesale etc etc. It’s in Harwin drive here in Houston. 😊

Hi! We made it from Shopify and they have a website builder within the app. From the Shopify account as well is where we’re able to buy and print the shipping labels. Hope this helps 😊

How does the postage printer work
Hi! As we’ve mentioned on the video, we buy all our transfers from Transfer Express. We buy and print the shipping labels from our Shopify account where we access all the orders that we get.

We typically buy from different warehouses there if one is out of stock of something we need but it’s in Harwin Drive in Houston. That whole area is mainly all small businesses with printing and apparel warehouses.

Do you have any tips for someone who wants to start a small business ?
My advice would be is to just start somewhere and start now. It can be anything. It can be as simple as writing down ideas of what you want to sell, make etc. From there, you can start your research and really go into deeper details with the materials, costs, logistics, etc. It can be overwhelming at first, but try to just take it one step at at time.
