What will probably end up being my last 2nd Gen recording, as these buses are starting to drop like flies... Taken along Henry and Ridge Avenues on 7/7/24. Enjoy!

SEPTA is slowly but surely losing it's variety. I was glad to record some D40LFs the first time I came to Philadelphia, and these are the closest we'll ever get to them. Pretty soon, the MTA, CT Transit and MBTA will be the only Transit Agencies left on the East Coast with non-restyled New Flyer buses in revenue service.
I was lucky to even see as many as I saw back in August of this year (I saw 3 of them).
I like Xcelsiors, but they are starting to become WAY too common across the United States.

As soon as the d40’s retired these started to slowly just not appear out anymore. Sad these are going away quick. 😢

While some of the D40LFs was in the process of retiring. Some of these buses were retiring with the D40LFs as well, and some of the restyles.
