SEPTA is slowly but surely losing it's variety. I was glad to record some D40LFs the first time I came to Philadelphia, and these are the closest we'll ever get to them. Pretty soon, the MTA, CT Transit and MBTA will be the only Transit Agencies left on the East Coast with non-restyled New Flyer buses in revenue service. I was lucky to even see as many as I saw back in August of this year (I saw 3 of them). I like Xcelsiors, but they are starting to become WAY too common across the United States.

Why NJ transit didn’t buy a nova bus LFS to replace the Nabi 416,15 it’s a reunion just like the nova bus RTS T90206 that NJ transit purchase in 1995 to replace the Grumman Flxible 870 and Metro buses

Be careful it’s actually only 5 30’ Gilligs left 982 thru 986. 981 was retired early due to engine problems but the other 5 are not far behind

Most North American transit buses today are not so appealing.

Good to see 0506 still going strong. They just received 2 new Gilligs so her days may be numbered. They had 3 ex-LRTA 29 foot Gilligs, the others were 0505 (retired a couple of years ago) and 0509 (never ran in BRTA service, was used for parts). At the same time they acquired the LRTA buses they also picked up 2 35 foot Gilligs from BAT in Brockton MA: 0501 and 0509, both now retired.
