Watching this has completely brought back the feelings of just after I saw Cursed Child and I'm emotional. Like Tessa, I saw it spoiler free because the book wasn't even out yet. Like Brizzy though, I didn't cry during it at all. It doesn't mean that it didn't mean so so much to me though. I hope that somehow every Harry Potter fan gets to see it because it's an experience that just has to be lived to be fully understood. THE MAGIC IS REAL
I FREAKED out when i saw the hairspray poster inside the theater cafe. I was doing the dance moves to you can't stop the beat and GASPED when i saw the poster. Judge me all you want I will forever love Hairspray (anyone else love hairspray)
I loved it Maddie Baillio did amazing. I don't understand why it's getting a lot of criticism. Some people say the 2007 is the best but i personally don't like it since i live the feeling of something being live and no cuts it adds more suspense. What is your opinion on Hairspray LIVE!
C H R I S S A R A V I A I absolutely adored it. Dove Cameron was a perfect Amber and Ariana Grande could not have been more adorable. Also who could have been a better Velma than Kristen Chenoweth? The cast as a whole was amazing and it was executed beautifully. It's probably my favorite live NBC production that I've seen (second and third going to The Sound of Music and Peter Pan).
Because the books and movies take place in the 90s, duh. Also they gotta disguise the TARDIS (and yes i know its a police call box not a telephone booth LET ME HAVE THIS)

Matilda Rose I just saw it yesterday (March 17th) for my birthday, but with the second cast, which you didn’t see. I’ve heard people say Anthony Boyle was a better Scorpius, but Scorpius being my favorite character (for many reasons I won’t share here), I think Samuel Blanken did a terrific job. However I haven’t seen Boyle in action, so I’m going to say they both are wonderful. All the actors were great! I’m a fullout Potterhead and this play was an unforgettable experience. Music, set, costumes, choreography of the scenes without lines, the characters & script... astounding. And now I’m ranting... excuse my insanity 😂 I know. Very late. Only because I saw the second cast. :) I agree, truly the best play I’ve ever seen. J.K. did it again. You can never go wrong with Harry Potter and its wizarding world! And now, this is where I exit. Hope this wasn’t annoying that it was such a late response!
