Reading the book cursed child was so much fun
Watching this is totally psyching me up for when I go to see it in August. Have an entire weekend planned out around it - seeing Lady Day and Les Mis on the Saturday with Cursed Child on the Sunday. Theatres aren't far from where I'm staying either, which is great!
Omg I watched the play yesterday and it was FANTASTIC
I only read the book of this play, but is so amazing. I am a huge fan of wizarding word, so it was a little present for me as an adult. I hope we can get more about this world and J.K. write more novels or everything from it. I'm happy for you that you've seen it! I do agree that the plot is weird, especially *SPOILER* going back in time to save Cedric and basically everything about Delphie. But these things were actually easier to accept on stage than when reading the script, imo. I did really like the the relationship between Harry and Albus and between Albus and Scorpius though.
Sam I've had the same issues in theatres too lately with regards to filming! its crazy! I would like to see this play but I don't think it will happen unless I can do what you did and get a return x

I really hated the storyline too, it felt more like a fan fiction to me rather than the real world of harry potter. Just went a bit too far and was cringey in some places haha! I do not class it as being the real wizarding world either. It took me a lonnnngg time to come to terms with it being over after book 7 and now its been "extended" it still doesn't sit right with me. I don't know if I want to see the play, I wasn't that fussed when I heard JK Rowling didn't write it exclusively, its just not 100% genuine in my eyes
