Feast of the Divine Day has been nerfed, get the Boralus Blood Sausage if you want to use food. The Darkmoon Decks: Ascension and Symbiosis seem to have been nerfed as well. We will be getting a bit more damage but if you do the mechanics correctly you will absolutely beat this challenge!
I followed this guide and tried probably 30 attempts this afternoon. Switched to druid of the claw and got it after 10 more attempts. Keeping 5 stacks of thrash up on the first boss, and the second boss was just so much faster to burn down spamming thrash and maul.
its weird seeing how differently your encounter goes. If I even move away from Velen for a split second to do what you do with dotting up the mobs, the first boss casts something directly at him and one shots him immediately. If i don't lose him right away they do a move that blasts me to the side and by the time I make it back to center Velen is dead. Your version basically gives you a free pass to play ring around the rosy and just manage the mobs.
Instantly attack variss when he becomes active, everytime a purple portal opens up dot at least one of the Nether Horrors. Meanwhile you should be able to walk circles around the black puddle, spam trash and moonfire. That way Velen will never be focused by any adds. He can however die if you stand near him while the Nether Horrors cast Nether storm.
For real.. 😐 I'll have a look at it later but if that's the case I guess we just have to deal with the dmg we get for now. At least the mechanics stay the same.
@@ItsDanta i'd put that in your description if you verify it, because people have already started inflating the price of the trinkets and the food based off your video. If this stuff isn't right , keep people from blowing 2000-3000 gold on stuff they patched already.
@@nekodirge Just did the challenge again with the Radiance trinket and I have no idea if it did anything besides sometimes dealing 130 dmg on Variss whaha
Incapacitating Roar - Disorients enemies within 10 yards of you for 3 seconds. This can double as an area of effect interrupt in dungeons against enemies who are not immune to disorients.
Checked it out, it can still be done. Interrupts are not an issue you have so many of them. The incoming damage is the only thing making it a bit harder.

Thrash only stacks to 3.

I understand the IL scales but somehow you do way more dmg than me a 2900 raze at the start? mine barely hits 900 really confused on how this scales

The trinkets you suggested only give 1 vers and 1 random stat now.

I'd say shaman since they have a bunch of spells / totems that can keep your party alive and also cc your enemies.
is this possible to do without the TWW dlc? i dont have it at the moment so ill be capped at 70. wondering how much harder it would be.
Hmm it is possible to do it but you won't have access to the hero talents which might make it a bit harder.
