Kemp managed to get something similar from Dennis Rodman after putting his nuts in Rodman's face(!) here: ua-cam.com/video/_awEtPJXL7E/v-deo.html - And Rodman still acknowledged Kemp's play afterwards.
1996 is the best we saw of him. He showed he’s not only a dunker, but his accuracy from mid-range cannot be underestimated. He could rebound and block shots. He is the reason why the Sonics were in the 96 Finals and being able to prolong the series to 6 Games before eventually felling to MJ and the Bulls. While the other Sonics choked against the Bulls, he held his own and the Bulls needed Rodman to provoke and frustrate him.

@Gary Thompson What?! That's absurd! I hate the Spurs but I know he faced Shaq, Garnett, Ewing, Duncan, Malone, Dirk Nowitski, Alonzo Mourning, Gasol, Barkley and your pal Shawn Kemp.
Who else watching The Reignman Shawn Kemp right now and getting pumped up?!
My all time favorite player in all sports.
Kemp's blocks were just as nice as his dunks!
6'10 230lbs and was as agile as Jordan was, Amazing, Best big man in the 1990's easily, Kemp Took Everybody and Anybody to the hole and Dunked on them, Jordan, Shaq, Barkley, K. Malone, Olajuwon, Ewing, D.Robinson, Mutombo. #40 Reignman
To this day Kemp is still my favorite NBA player.
It’s an L every time you jump against this guy
Gotta respect guys who actually tried to block it instead of the typical "straight up" defense
@@bakgammon Like Jordan did against everybody all throughout his career!!! (and I'm not a Kobe or LeBron fan or anything...)
THX so very much for this Vid. Almost had tears in my eyes cause of the good old times. That was a great era in NBA and SK40 was my absolute favourite back then!! What a pitty they didn't make it in '96 and how it turned out for him later on...
Wait, this video showed dunks I haven't seen before!?😮 But I grew up watching the Pearl Jam video of him. He's my favorite dunkuh of all times😁😁😁
This is THE BESSSSST mixtape of Shawn Kemp. This is my all time favourite basketball player EVER! Please make him a hall of famer, pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!
Thank you for sharing this. It's even go the dunk I remember very well from a NBA countdown back in the day where Kemp dunks on Mutombo. Can't find that clip anywhere on the internet and I actually saw it here at 4:16. Thank you again @NBA for sharing this because this is the best mixtape of my man Shawn Kemp.
kemp is a beast a real beast who agrees
I started watching the NBA in 1994 and everyone talks about MJ, and rightly so. People forget how good players like Pip, Kemp, Payton, Barkley, Drexler, Malone, Stockton, etc were.
6:09 we will never forget 😂😂
terrence hawkins i dreamed that XD
You will always know which dunk comes the last
Legendary player.. And vary much Underrated. Kemp#40
