I'm gonna say, I think it makes sense that there isn't a sword stat. It wasn't a big point of the video but I want to address it. Your strength with a sword is dependent on 2 things, your skill and your overall physical strength. If you can swing with more force, you can do more damage. If you can cut with better form, you can do more damage as well as conserve your energy and prevent wear on your blade. So I think it would make a lot of sense if your sword damage is based on a mix of physical strength stats and mastery. The same kind of applies to devil fruits. There isn't really anything you can do to make the devil fruit stronger, at least not it's base strength, all you can do is gain more mastery and learn to use it better so you can 1 do more damage and 2 gain better control. That's just how it makes sense to me and honestly I'm really glad they're doing it the way they are, it means you don't lock yourself out of other paths by choosing to be a sword main or fruit main, because there isn't really a "main" stat, there's just whatever you spend the most time gaining mastery in. Sorry for the long comment, but yeah I'm pretty excited about that

I like the idea of having core stats (strength, defense, willpower, spirituality, endurance, and luck stats in Rell Seas' case) with mastery with each weapon type instead, just because I think it means leveling up actually matters and makes you stronger. I like the idea of mastery being general though, for the most part. There's sword mastery instead of mastery with every specific sword. The only cases where I think mastery shouldn't apply to different paths or weapons of the same type are fighting styles and fruits.

I think that there should be several ways to unlock conquerors haki for example: -It being very rare off spawn -It being achievable by meeting a certain bounty/fame/notoriety target for example 500M and being one of the first 20 people to achieve that target while meeting a willpower requirement , they could make multiple bounty , fame or notoriety checkpoints that reward you with conquerors if you also meet the willpower and/or spiritual requirement while also being one of the first 20 to meet this checkpoint (If you already have conquerors haki then you should be ignored when it comes to this method) -Being able to defeat a high number of conqueror haki users that are within your level bracket defeating the same player repeatedly wouldn't count so that this method couldn't be abused , these grips can't be within your crew either ( other requirements could be added on top of these,) -Being able to defeat a very very high number of regular players within your level bracket , these players can't be in your crew and they are also only counted once so that it couldn't be abused -more methods can be added and they should be this difficult (more or less)
The length of the use of conquerors haki could mean that there will be conquerors haki battles where two players haki clashes and maybe it would give the winner an upper hand when the fight between them wins.

I think to prevent alt accounts is that conquerors haki should be obtained randomly while in a progression in game, you wouldn't know in the first place, and just like luffy randomly popping it out and not realizing he has it. Obtaining it later in a game, probably like while fighting a boss or a player, your character randomly pop it out and you'll know you have conquerors haki. I like this idea because anyone who tries to find out if they have conquerors haki, they will find it out later in the game, meaning that playing the game is important than trying to get conquerors haki early on. This concepts just based that you don't earn it via quest, you get it when the game feels like you are worth it. It's kings of haki for some reason, play the game.
That's an excellent idea, really, and even though you are born with the conqueror's haki, probably most of the people who have it in One Piece don't know they have it until they use it and discovers it.
In my opinion Conquerors Haki should have a Build Up Bar and a Long Cooldown. In terms of the effect i feel like it should be a Quick Time Event for the players getting hit by that move, if you don't press and time all the buttons / keys then you should be ragdolled for a certain amount of time. (IDK JUST MY IDEA) They should also add clashing with the same ragdoll effect . * damn Willpower is a solid name for progression in haki *

My Ideas are : 1. You have to kill every single player excluding crew members in multiple servers in a row, and if there is more than one ally in that server then it won't go towards the count. 2. You should have a certain amount of bounty, or crew with a certain amount of bounty, which would give actual meaning to the bounty system seen in other games. 3. You kill another conq haki user of your level after they have used it in combat on you. These are all good options because they seem like something that would warrant the title of a conquerer, and they would encourage the player to be in late game before attempting to obtain it. Edit: another commenter made a suggestion I want to build on: if you get into a fight with very high willpower, it should have a chance to flare when an opponent with less willpower is about to land a fatal blow, like in the show when Ace uses it to save luffy from getting killed.
Hot take: Make the game an pokemon like game where u catch slaves to work for you and trade and sell them for money. And also turn it into a tycooon like game. This might sound bad but it is actually rlu great when u think about it!
I hope there's a chance for an account to have a Conqeuror by default. (Super rare, make it 1 : 1 billion if they wanted too) Since in One Piece, there's people who born with it. So there can be something like top pvp players in the leaderboard get the conqueror haki... My suggestion U will need to fight admirals and be in your death state like 10 percent or something and do a lot of damage to admiral (npc) or pirate captain (npc) depends on whats your faction and when u do damage to them a lot while being in 10 percent or something hp it will automatically trigger conqueror nland from then I can use it permanently.. u know the obtaining procces could be kind of like a bit of story in the late game and yeah that's it... a good way to keep conqueror haki rare would be to treat it like the Afro Samurai head band. you limit the amount of people who has it over all , then if a player with the right amount of will power kills a player with conqueror haki they steal it from them. Not only would that make the haki valuable but the wielder would have the ultimate bragging rights. You could also make a leader board in towns, and bases that show the name of all the conquerors and who's holding onto theirs the longest, where only in game time is counted of course.

if they want to keep it rare I say they should make it happen during a "trauma-based" event like with Luffy when Ace almost dies, for example when the player is doing pvp and is close to dying and tries to activate haki there is a small chance for conq to activate with some cooldown so people don't try to farm it and focus on having fun in pvp know you can get it as well as giving that rush people need when their about to lose and try to activate haki one last time and boom they get it.

A good idea is if to get conquer haki you have to do a quest but you have to do like a trading but there is a really low chance like 0.1 or 1 to get it or if not you can get it will fighting a battle so ppl have to do bounty hunt and pvp

if they want to keep it rare I say they should make it happen during a "trauma-based" event like with Luffy when Ace almost dies, for example when the player is doing pvp and is close to dying and tries to activate haki there is a small chance for conq to activate with some cooldown so people don't try to farm it and focus on having fun in pvp know you can get it as well as giving that rush people need when their about to lose and try to activate haki one last time and boom they get it.
