Hi I would like to know how to restore my "civil 3d" option at workspace switching. It's gone as soon as I reset my autocad. whats left are the 3 option 1.) drafting & annotation 2.) 3D Basics, and 3.) 3D Modeling. I can not find the last option which is the civil 3D. I can not find any youtube tutorial for that. And secondly I would like to know how to show the entire workspace coz my monitor does not show the whole space. Is it due to my monitor or the settings.
First thing first make sure you are opening Civil 3D not Autocad to enable that workspace. As for the second would need to see what is occurring. Zoom extents might help to see everything in the drawing, but do t think that is the issue.
Thanks for the feedback. For 2 monitors I move the tool-space, layers dialogue box, and properties box to the second monitor. This can be done by just dragging them off the 1st monitor onto the 2nd screen. Hope this helps will update with an additional video showing my 2 monitor setup. Thanks B
I meant where do I find the setting to display the autocad program also on the second monitor, so I can see the entire layout one screen and zoom in on the other screen.
There is no great integrated way to do it really but here is a video showing my work around method I sometimes use. Link Below ua-cam.com/video/TaFc97XgDjA/v-deo.html
