I moved away about 5 years ago. I miss it. Lots of good times and people there. I live in Waco now. It is a pretty place with trees and water but the people seem friendlier and closer in Lubbock.
@@AS-fn3qk Heard that as well, wonder if its really a dangerous place, can someone please give a living experience/example, what type of dangerous is Lubbock?
I’ll tell you what there ain’t a lot of good people here I work for optimum I only been here about 3 years a lot of y’all are assholes more then nice tbh and very very very entitled.
@@goalsfirst2895 I live in Lubbock.. I don’t feel that it is too dangerous although stats do say otherwise .. I think it depends on what part of town you’re in. My car has been rummaged through and i live in a middle class neighborhood -but I obviously feel it’s safe enough to leave my car door unlocked haha .. I’ve heard sex trafficking is kind of bad here , but again that’s everywhere .. overall I’d say I feel safe here
I would say, and highly recommend “City of Wolfforth” given shear amount of higher end homes being built in community, small town feel, safety, and the best public grade A+ schools to send your children too.
Coming from a big city, Lubbock is boring but its charm comes from the nice people that live here and they have at least one of everything, (walmart, target, starbucks, Ross, Marshall, Dillards, HEB, United, etc.). Just wish they had more ethnic food places, but they have good pizzas, burgers, steaks and BBQ.
@@livinginlubbock Thank you for the suggestion and yes we did try it when we were in town, a bit bready and a little too sweet for us but its fine. We like the authenticity and savory flavors of Fun Noodles (Taiwanese) and Pho District 1 (Vietnamese) in Lubbock. And if you ever find yourself in DFW, Kirin Court is good for dim sum and 99 Ranch supermarket has a food court that serves good roast duck and Chinese BBQ pork. Cheers mate.
@@GoldieJoRv never heard it be called that before but the more you know! Interested to know your thoughts on how Lubbock has changed since moving here in 1993??!
Well 98 th and ave s was a dead end dirt road I don’t miss the muddy road, traffic off 98 th can be a drag strip on most nights. But lubbock has really grown we have a lot of places to shop and have great restaurants. Our medical facilities are really nice but then I am a nurse just recently retired from CMG. We have really great Dr’s. And for that it does keep me here. Grace hospital is a top notch facility your treatment is the best. The plans really will be a great expansion.
I think it's a great location for those wanting to live just West of Lubbock and still be incredibly close to everything. Price point isn't that bad either!
Best place to live around Lubbock is out of Lubbock through the crime and drugs and the fact of congestion in the south part of Lubbock it’s just not worth it to live there understand that it’s disastrous to have Lubbock growing like it is when we actually need more in North Lubbock than anywhere else Think about it
@@Bird111648 appreciate the view point and you taking time to watch! With crime and drugs, the most important thing I’ve heard is just don’t be around them. Doesn’t mean they aren’t everywhere and in every city though!

Thanks for the feedback and for watching! What would be the first food place you'd bring to Lubbock if able?
@@livinginlubbock Fresh Dim Sum that also serves Chinese BBQ, roast duck and roast pork with the crispy skin.
@@awesomesauce8083 Sounds delicious! Have you checked out Kung Fu? Huge portions and some of the best bourbon chicken I've had.
