When I worked at a Walmart tire and lube in my early 20’s a lady came in that was about 40,000 miles over her oil change and he pan was basically dry except a few ounces maybe and some chunky carbon build up. I’m surprised the thing was still running but I guess that’s a testament to a Honda engine
I had a shed find 08 nightster that had been sitting for 3 years out in the weather under a tarp. Even after getting it to start and running the oil came out in clumps and just sludge
Bought a 79 dodge ramcharger thats sat in a field for 14 years (going off plates and dirt). She started and drove really nice for a 79. Changed the oil and it oozed out like sludge.
I've got a 09 SuckerPunch Sally that I've owned for 6 years and I don't put a lot of miles on it but I changed the oil every spring rather it needs it or not, I'll probably never get rid of mine either, it's the funnest bike I've owned and it gets a compliment everywhere we go on it, they are such a badass looking and running bike, ride safe brother 💯🤜🏼💥🤛🏼
Great vid Bagger Bro! And I fully agree Amsoil is the best oil I’ve ever used. I honestly would prefer the Sucker Punch over the Low Rider. Just because it’s different and has that old bobber feel to it. The Low Rider would be a much better every day ride for sure but the SP just has the cool factor!
Back in 05, my first car was a 1990 Civic with somewhere around 230k miles. It was running rough and the oil was black as night. I ended up running a oil flush and when I drained it, there were huge clumps of black sludge similar to the burnt, greasy buildup you'd find in the bottom of the grill in the back yard. I'm surprised they even fit through the drain plug. Ran great after that though.
Look up “SCAVENGER “ total oil change system. I’ve been running their systems in all three of my bikes sportster, dyna, and touring .don’t know how anyone could do an oil change without it. Basically what you were doing in this video but with all the parts necessary such as the bypass puck, look into it . You won’t regret it . good luck . 👍 great videos
I always ran 50wt when I lived in St Pete also....LOL....when I moved further north I thought that there was something wrong with the oil since it was so much thinner!!! :-P. As far as Sucker Punch or the Dyna, man thats a tough choice!! I mean the performance of the Dyna will be a TON better but Sucker Punch has its own character....dont see why you cant have both!! :-P. As far as oil goes, I will use Amsoil, Motul, Redline, or Spectrum Gold. Back in the 90's we used Spectrum Gold on our sportbikes....my brother in laws 91 GSXR1100 had over 70k on it until he replaced the motor....it had lived a VERY HARD LIFE and was still like brand new inside. I dont think you will see much difference with any name brand full synthetic oil as long as you change the oil at the regular intervals and use a quality filter....its more or less you like the name on the label for any big brand. I will say I LOVE the color of the Motul in my Ducati with the clear clutch cover (its like a fluorescent green)
Haha, we could argue about oil till the end of the election recount! It's all slippery. Up here in the mitten state, I use Valvoline 20W-50W. $5.00 a qt at Meijer and a black Fram filter. HD oil is overpriced and so are their filters. Got a perfect tune on my re jetted carb. This old 1990 XL runs and starts like new. I'll take the SUCKER PUNCH !!! Coolest company made rigids ever made. Very rare to see them for sale. They get passed down like old PU trucks. Good job BB ! 👍 Glad your onboard the channel. Your always fun. "Watch out for that clutch/handle/grip yuk yuk
Wow, thats a Blockhead historical find ! Thanks for being a fan for such a long time!! We filmed that after a pool party 🥳 at my house ... Boy were we shit hammered filming that one hahaha!
The absolutely WORST oil change I've ever performed involved a 1939 H-D Knuckle. My pal picked up the bike at a cop auction. I could have used the gunk that came out of the oil bag and transmission to cold patch my driveway. I had to remove the oil tank from the bike and flush it out four or five times. I removed the kicker cover from the trans. What tried to pass itself off as transmission "oil" had a yellowish tint to it. The sludge in the oil tank and the trans was the worst I've ever seen and I worked at a Honda and Harley dealership for almost twenty years. Ride safe.
Nastiest oil I’ve ever seen in my life was on a 1947 Chevy truck. They didn’t have oil filters back then. It was parked probably in the 70s at the latest. It didn’t even drain from the plug like a fluid. I’d more compare it to play dough
If you want to get a real clean oil flush, run fresh oil in your tank after you do your drain. You run it until the clean oil comes out. This works with your type of Harley.
When I was in Jr High, my dads friend would come by while my dad worked on car engines in his garage. The friend would take the cruddy oil my dad just changed out and put it in his car because he was too cheap to buy fresh oil......not really the nastiest oil change done, but nasty that he’d put old dirty oil in his car, which was a 1960 something Chevy Nova.
Once changed the oil on 125cc Suzuki a guy I knew had it came out green stinking of fuel and full of metal to this day I haven't worked out why it was green
Motul oil all the way! I changed the oil in a jeep. Took it the drain plug and NOTHING came out... dipstick showed it was full ... half inch of sludge blocking the hole. Do engine jobs count. Replaced a couple with some NASTY sludge in em
Would love to see Eric start to run with these episodes and take the camera from the start and do the intro himself. Then y’all (ha, the Australian said y’all) can really start churning out some content like the dynamic dude duo (no homo) you are
HD oil is overpriced and is usually rated in the bottom tier on the few oil comparisons that I've seen. I have a 96 low rider and for whatever reason, it does like Bel-Ray. Old school mineral in the engine and Bel-Rays Gear Savor in the trans will keep it quiet and shifting smooth. Primary gets whatever ATF is laying around.
Easily rather have the chopper than the FXLRS. The only thing I’m personally not a fan of is open primaries. I’m always paranoid I’m gonna catch my pants on it 😂
Are used to watches bike builder shows with billy lane and the bottom of his pants leg did catch on the open primary and tore it all to pieces, it reminded me of one of those old fibre optic light toys I had as a kid.
When I first got my Supermagna and changed the oil the first time it was super watery....turns out petrol was leaking in to it!! But yeah, that was very thick, nasty oil! Whooooooa those plugs are done :D Burnt to a crisp :P I'd rather have sucker punch :)
NGK=Not Good Kind. Seriously, had 3 insulators separate on a 440 big block and 1 on my 1200 Sporty. Thought I blew the engine both times. I'll never buy those junky plugs again. It's either Bosch or Champion if I can't find Bosch. Might even try E3 Diamondfire plugs, but never NGK. FFS, what are you guys thinking?
Torqwrench on the sparkplugs.....or what is the point having them gaped right🤔.....if I remember right its 18-22 ft-lbs on std Evo plugs, 12-18 ft-lbs on TC. Nastiest oil would be gearoil that looked like chunky mustard! (My Old Filthy when I bought it) I use cheap Drag Specialities oil and change everything every 5000 miles.
What's the nastiest oil that y'all have ever changed? Comment your story!
This one time i changed oil on a Sucker Punch Sally Chopper, yeah that took the cake! lol All Gooder now!!!
@@BaggerBro XD nice,love dat choppa
Sex Death haha

I like Amsoil as well. Amsoil in the transmission, primary and the sump. Bikes just seem to run better and quieter.
“On a Harley oil drips over everything “. Is best line in video lol
That's because it's literally true.. The designers were either on drugs or drunk when they came up with a few of the designs on some of the bikes lol

Thanks Bagger bro for this oil change maintenance video
Nice job Eric! ..and yes Amsoil all day everyday! Way cool Team Block can employ now too. Positive growth!
Good job Bagger Bro!
20W-50 is the only way to go down here in Florida for our beloved V-Twins.
That bike looks mean just sitting there!
YAY so glad you were able to hire Erik...plus he makes me laugh and I adore him. Great video!!

OMG.
I NEED to have one of those in my garage! I’ve wanted a Sucker Punch since the first time I saw one years ago. Such a cool ass bike!
BaggerBro is definitely that really good friend you argue with all the time lol. Glad he’s on the channel!
BAG MAN
I'm Amsoil also. Run it in everything I own. Eric is the first person I've heard mention Amsoil.
Eric is the best keep him doing what he’s doin
Hey man great vids, love them. I run a 60wt here in South Florida. No issues and I do not shut down at lights.
The sucker punch sally. For sure. But that season 4 dyna is sick af too
“We’ll never give this away, it’s too dangerous”… mhmmmm yeah sure 😂
Look up “SCAVENGER “ total oil change system. I’ve been running their systems in all three of my bikes sportster, dyna, and touring .don’t know how anyone could do an oil change without it. I like both. Each one are awesome
would totally pick Sex death over the dyna giveaway. lol. love that name BTW.

It would be awesome to see a Twilight Zone episode featuring Sucker Punch Sally.
one of these sucker punch sallys came into my dealership on trade the other day. pretty cool bike
I run Amsoil in everything I own!!
Harley dealers mainly use amsoil, I use it as well. Much better product then any other oil
Your attitude rocks
Really enjoyed the video. I love this bike. Definitely prefer the chopper.

I’ll be in Florida with my Harley in April. Be awesome to ride with you. Enjoy the hell out of you channel!
I remember one of the first videos I saw he was putting flush mount gauges on for you way back in the day.
Wow, thats a Blockhead historical find ! Thanks for being a fan for such a long time!! We filmed that after a pool party 🥳 at my house ... Boy were we shit hammered filming that one hahaha!
No problem thanks for what u guys do
How about a big metric as a giveaway like a Yamaha Raider or a Roadliner. It would be interesting to see what you could do with one .
Yes. I loved my roadstar Silverado. Best bike I ever had
@@pastorfrankie3120 Very nice

I would take old school any day. Love it!

Love the sucker punch Sally bike
Bike sounds great.
I have always been told after you add oil to the tank to remove the drain plug and let a little oil run out so you get the air out of the drain line.
I’d totally have the chopper instead of the low rider. (Unless I could sell the low rider and get more stuff :)))
If you want to get a real clean oil flush, run fresh oil in your tank after you do your drain. You run it until the clean oil comes out. This works with your type of Harley.
I would like a sucia bike like this. Unreliable as hell but looks fun

Definitely the Dyna Lowrider S!!!

Eric has done some videos by himself but I think Blockhead wants to keep doing the intro's. That may change though.
Eric for president 2024
🇺🇸I'm Erick and I approve this message🇺🇸
@@BaggerBro who is going to be your vice president?

the sound at 5:48 has be cryinggggg lmao
Love that bike!
The first one is for the bike I would like. I changed the oil in my X’s 1995 Honda Shadow and it was gross.
That is like some karo syrup thick.
When I first got my Supermagna and changed the oil the first time it was super watery....turns out petrol was leaking in to it!! But yeah, that was very thick, nasty oil! Whooooooa those plugs are done :D Burnt to a crisp :P I'd rather have sucker punch :)
Definitely that one but I grew up around that type of bike
I like that bike!
Love the bike
Neither I'm going to get a Iron 883 this spring. 👍👍
haha HD branded oil. $100 / qt. HD only for rich people. lol
Love this video btw.
I’d take the Dyna all day, that bikes just to small for me, and I could never get used to the seat
Is that a gas tank phone mount? Or do you just have a magnet behind the phone?
Harley syn 3 is pretty good oil also.
I would 100% rather have Sucker Punch Sally but I live by Shadetree Surgeon's rule that sketchy dangerous bikes are the best bikes!!
SPS for the giveaway, Amsoil for sure all I ever run in my horses.
Sex Death is the perfect name for that 😂😂
Can I call Erick for a oil change 😁☕️
I was hoping to see the test ride :(
This was probably mentioned earlier in some below comments, why does Harley use Japanese plugs in this bike?
you don't have to pour oil in the new filter on a harley,it's in the return line.
What’s the height on those handlebars?
Amsoil user here!!!
Best bike in the stable. Most interesting I mean. :)
Should’ve tuned the carb to and jetted it. Now you have to clean the plugs again😔
I use the oil the manufacturer recommends. I own European bikes. Motul invented multi weight oil as well as the first synthetic oils.
Lowrider S for sure
Engine only ever runs on 8 ozs of oil rest is in the pan so statement is correct.
I’m old school, I would take the chopper
NGK=Not Good Kind. Seriously, had 3 insulators separate on a 440 big block and 1 on my 1200 Sporty. Thought I blew the engine both times. I'll never buy those junky plugs again. Between the two, I'd choose the Sucker Punch Sally.
I have that strange feeling this bike will be a lemon.
I hope I'm wrong though ...
The bike is solid af lol
I would run fresh oil thru while turning it over until it comes thru to the filter
I like when baggerbro says “hi blockheads” in previous videos. He didn’t do it in this one. Still a good video though
Siiiiic scoot
Royal purple stretch oil is the world's finest oil for all Harley's. Drop mike.!
E336 plugs all the way for harley
Would love to have a Sucker Punch bike
Anti seize on those plug threads wouldnt be a bad idea
I like the old chopper that’s my speed.
Torqwrench on the sparkplugs.....or what is the point having them gaped right🤔.....if I remember right its 18-22 ft-lbs on std Evo plugs, 12-18 ft-lbs on TC. Can run with one quart of oil but for how long? :)
Auction off a 2016 sportster 1200 72.
They look like your bike.
damn took that basatinnis off huh
What kind of bike is sucker punch sally?
Its a bike builder that uses harley running gear
I would take the sucker punch sally :)
I like Redline oil on my bike , but only couse i havent found Amsoil near me
Hands down chopper. Keep choppers sketchy Lol
Fs the low rider s but I do really like that bike ut I'd change the bars
I definitely want the sucker punch
Sucker punch all day long yo!!
